Spellbinders New & Improved Glimmer Hot Foil System

I finally took the Glimmer plunge and it is soo fun! I watched all of the Spellbinders Glimmer tutorials and had a blast using my Glimmer machine to make gorgeous backgrounds as my first use of the machine. I love how quick the machine heats up and how easy it is to apply the foil and paper and run the whole platform sandwich through my die cutting machine. It's a genius invention and my results were consistent with full, bright coverage. I'm so glad I finally gave in and I can't wait to glimmer all the things!

FABULOUS product!! This review is for the purchase for what is actually my second Glimmer Foil System. I love foiling and the looks it gives to cards & paper projects so I updated my older original system/machine. That alone I hope will speak for the product.

This foiling machine is 100 times better that the first one I had for only a very short time before it broke down. I have been working with the Glimmer and am so very pleased with the ease that I have been able to use it. So uncomplicated and the instructions are well done. A very well made product. I am very happy with the purchase of my Glimmer Foiling machine.

I was intimidated because it seemed so complex based on all the tutorials on how to use the system. I bought the Glimmer system and the Glimmer holly background hot foil from Yana's de-light-ful Christmas collection. I watched Yana's video several times. My very first hot foil attempt came out perfect. It made me so happy!

I love the new Platinum Six die-cutting machine from Spellbinders. I have an old Excalibur and was finding it hard to emboss the various brands of embossing folders. Now with the universal plate system, it is so easy to use and the instructions take the guesswork out of embossing different brands of folders. I love it! Thank you, Spellbinders.

I resisted getting this machine for quite awhile and I'm happy I finally caved. After watching the Spellbinders boot camp plus some Jennifer McGuire videos, I was able to achieve excellent results on my second attempt. I look forward to adding a whole new look to my cards.

Love, love this system. Only bummer the week after I purchased, it was $50 off. But fouling is fun and looking forward to getting more glimmer plates.

It works well...now. It was over-foiling really bad at first. Now that I used a solid plate, it has been good. So I would suggest if you get a new machine and if you get over-foiling, that you try a solid plate and then see if that resolves the issue.

New to Spellbinders and a Hot Foil System. As I have been experimenting with the foil and have found that it is easy to work with and I always get great results. The series of videos walking you through the process is easily viewed on their site, which not only supplies you with the necessary instructions but offers you helpful hints which I find very helpful. The instructor speaks very clearly, and easy to easy to follow. Not only do I look forward to seeing new hot foil products, but all of their products so far have been beautiful and of good quality.
