Spellbinders Platinum 6.0 Die Cutting & Emboss Machine plus exclusive die set and embossing folder

Although I've elected to send this back this is the perfect embosser. Im new to embossing and have fallen in love with this new hobby. i just bought the wrong size. I didnt realize how much I was going to love this so I bought the next size up.

I love the quality of this machine and its ease of use. I literally saw a video of someone using this machine and bought one. It is very easy to use due to the picture of the sandwiches on the plates included with the machine. I would have liked to see included, an easy project or tutorial on making a project so that I wouldn't have to rely on a video to learn how to use the machine.

The Platinum 6 is a great manual die cutting machine and great for use with the betterpress system. Would definitely recommend.

I haven't had much time to play with my new machine, but I am sure it will work just fine for all my needs. My one complaint is that the cutting plates seem to warp quickly. I have tried to rotate them after 2 or 3 cuttings but still find that they are warping. The only other thing that I would love to see is a fold away crank. I purchased this machine because I work overnights and I take crafts with me to work on and it would be nice to be able to tuck the handle away instead of it getting caught on things in the car. I am sure that I will get a lot of use out of this machine just like I have my previous (un-named brand) machine that I can no longer buy.

I love my platinum six machine. I wish I would have bought it sooner. The easy to use platforms make it a breeze to die cut or emboss cardstock. The instructions that are printed on the platforms takes all the trial and errors out of running a piece of cardstock through the machine. Way to go Spellbinders!

I love it! I’ve had an old machine for years and my husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday.. it works amazing so much easier for me to do with my handicap hands. I will be buying some spellbinder dies and folders.. things that work easier for me is a big plus! Ive been buying stitch dies and doing cross stitch on them.. so much fun Thank you

the machine is wonderful-

I ordered on 6/19/23 the email said shipped out on 6/20/23 but after contacting support twice and calling leaving a message that I had not received it and needed a respond. The delay was frustrating and chasing the order done was frustrating. Finally, received on 7/7/23. Very well packed! I like that it is compact. My complaint would be opening to use is very tight and hard to open and closing it is loud. I haven't used it yet. My other concern is being able to purchase cutting plates only for the updated Universal Plate System. Hope that will not be a problem. Would appreciate update on plates. Thanks

I did one die (AnnaGriffin) pass through. It was So difficult to get it thru, took me 15mins with all my power to get it through! I couldn't go back & hard to go forward. The plates where warped & marred with the die both plates. I haven't done it again because I don't have the physical strength & don't want to damage the machine! As much as I watch people use this machine on YouTube I thought it would be easy, I was wrong.,
