Spellbinders Universal Plate System for Die Cutting & Embossing

These plates work beautifully. I love the description of the sandwiches too, so you know exactly what to put together. I have bought cheap plates on Amazon and they just bend too easily and you have to replace them often. These are not at all like that, much better quality.

Thank you, Spellbinders, for not forgetting about the wonderful white 3-D plates from years ago. These are Still some of my favorite embossing plates and the sandwich from the compatibility chart was spot on. I can finally use them again without trying to figure out how many shims I need to use with my Platimum 6 machine because I only need two plates now to get a perfect impression. I like the larger base size as well. The online compatibility PDF is most helpful. It would have been nice to have it included in the box as the instructions on the platform are mostly for the current Spellbinders products. Anyway, a great product innovation!

I have been using the new plates and I was impressed they cut through very nicely with the die cuts and of course the 3D embossing folders are easy to go through and come out very nice Very happy I just wish they made the bigger set for the platinum spellbinder machine

I love my Spellbinders Platinum! I've had it for years but couldn't find the right plate for 3D embossing folders. I finally called and the customer rep said that my platform needed to be upgraded to the new Universal Plate System. Wow, I am so happy to emboss again! Love it!

I have used my Platinum 6 machine so much that the plates that I were in bad shape. I also wanted to start using the new 3D embossing folders. am thrilled with this new set of plates. I can now cut metallic cardstock without leaving unwanted texture on the cutouts and I love the 3D folders that I have tried. This set of plates is more versatile than my old plates. Having the sandwiches printed on the base is also very helpful.

I love this Universal Plate System. I now know exactly what sandwich to use for literally every die and embossing folder I own and I don’t risk damaging the machine by guessing wrong on which plates to use for a product. This Universal Plate System is a game changer, for sure! I would recommend it to every crafter.

I bought this plate set because I was struggling with getting some embossing folders to work. As it turns out I’m still having problems even using the new plate set. I have tried every combination I can think of but I still struggle with some of my embossing folders. I’m not giving up, it could very well be operator error but I don’t think so. Other than the embossing folders they work perfectly for everything else. I really like the extended length of the plates.
