its a small trap. its good for rats and mice. its a little tricky trying to figure out how to set it because it comes with no instructions on that but once you figure it out you'll have that aha moment. its actually pretty easy. so it works well for a little trap.

We'd tried another larger trap in the past with no luck, but this one caught our little roommate within 12 hours. It's very responsive, so even a light weight critter like a mouse would set it off. We had a bushy-tailed woodrat and it worked great. It's sensitive though, so be careful where you set it or it might get tripped early. There are no instructions but putting it together is pretty intuitive.

Worked like a charm!! Easy to set up and the trap works as expected. Reasonably priced and sturdy enough to keep them in. Will likely get a second one when they are back in stock.

It does not come with instructions on how to put together, but if you study the pictures in the ad you can see how how it should look when set. It is quite and easy to trip unless a tiny piece of food obstructs movement.

it worked great! No instruction sheet was shipped with it, but fortunately my son was able to figure it out. He put peanut butter on the inside flap and trapped our first rat with no poison. However he was dead next day. possibly he had eaten poison bait some where else. i took him to our close mountain and shook him out into the bushes. Something had carried him away the next day. plan to set it again.

As other reviewers said the spring is loose so the door doesn't shut completely. No directions on how to use.

Not good for big strong rats break out easy

no assembly instructions, had to adjust arm to stay triggered and still trips without catching rodent. design takes up to much space for lever on door. bar that is suppose to hold door shut works intermittent and is unreliable

Comes with zero instructions. Figured it out only to not catch a single mouse. The snap spring lever is not strong enough. They get everything I have tried, 10 attempts, no luck. Now I fattened them up. Moving on to glue boards.
