Any DIY PERSON NEEDS IT

It works!
My GB CS550A finds the correct circuit breaker every time. You can even track a lamp by screwing in a ac plug adapter. A previous one-star review (and the only one at the time) would lead you to think twice before buying this item. Look at Amazon reviews where there was more input. Just be sure your ac is on as it won't work well without it.

Good Circuit Tracer!
I have always liked this breaker tracer! HQ used to sell them when they existed. I've lost many of these over the years! Why won't stores keep it in stock anymore? When I need one, this is what I want! Other's in price bracket don't come close! Guy who wrote bad review, forgot to turn breaker on i guess? Home Depot used to sell as Commercial Elect., but no more? This very tester has been my choice for about 30 years. Unlike other cheaper ones I've tried, always GREAT results

Avoid the Sperry Instruments CS550A Circuit Breake
The Sperry Instruments CS550A Circuit Breaker Finder did NOT work as advertised. It mis-identified breakers more often than it found the correct one. Sometimes it didn't find any at all and we followed the instructions to a T.
