Spice by Tia Mowry 11.81 in Round Solid Print Iron Casserole Dish

I have never owned a Dutch oven. I had a gift card and figured I'd buy myself something special that I would keep using. What a smart choice in getting the Spice by Tia Mowry 11.81 inch casserole dish. Taking it out of the box I was amazed at how heavy it is. I left it on my stove for a couple of weeks just so I could admire it. I have made a couple of dishes in the pot and I have to say, I love that it goes from stove to oven with ease. The food comes out moist when I use it! I highly recommend!

This is a smaller iron out than my regular ones and I love it. It is perfect for smaller soups, casseroles, etc.. I love the mint green color, it is the first enameled iron pan that I have ever had so well see how it holds up. The design on the lid is really pretty too.

I am reviewing the Tia mowry mint 3.5 Quart enamel cast iron casserole dish. Upon receiving this product, the box was super heavy! The package was a box inside a box and was packaged nicely. There were no chips or anything wrong with it. It has a beautiful bluish green color. The lid has a beautiful handle. I thought this casserole dish might be smaller than it actually 3.5 quarts doesn't sound big but it is the perfect size for a meal or soup! I can't wait to take it to family functions and get togethers! I would definitely recommend this product. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

I have made so many things with the iron casserole. The first thing I made when I got it was a big pot of beef stew. All the stuff went in one pot and the best thing is you can put it from the stove top to the oven. It is a heavy pot but with it being cast iron that is to be expected. It is easy to clean. Even after getting stuff stuck to the bottom. Love the color also.

The 3.5 qt enameled cast iron casserole pot is absolutely amazing, it came very well packaged . The pot is heavy and well made, I love using it with just about everything I make. It had so much room to hold food , enough for a huge family. The casserole pot can be used on regular stove top, oven , and I've even used it on my smoker, there's endless ways to cook with this. It can withstand heat up to 500 , so everything comes out perfect.

I had a similar cast iron covered casserole, a bit wider & shallower than this pan. Both are 3.5qts which is a wee bit big for me as I'm cooking for one! This shape, taller kinda like a stock pot, is great for stews & simmering karger portions of meat. I like the style on the lid--simple but adds some pizzazz. The enamel interior makes it easy to clean! Be sure to treat it like any quality non-stick cookware: don't use metal utensils or abrasive cleaners/harsh scrub pads. Very heavy as all cast iron is, so it holds heat well & allows you to cook with less energy consumption. Don't recommend this for an electric stovetop, I don't think it would get hot enough to be efficient. Not compatible with induction. Only drawback to it holding heat so well is it takes awhile to cool off. When I put it in the fridge the condensation in the lid caused a little rust spots on the edge of the pan, thankfully easy to wipe off! I have one minor complaint about the lid, while cooking even on low heat, steam & condensation was leaking over the side of the pan. The lip of the lid doesn't sit as low inside the pot as a glass & metal lid does on a non-cast iron pan, obviously due to thickness of the iron. Other than having to wipe off the steam periodically it works great for "low & slow" cooking! It cane packaged in an excessive amount of cardboard; unnecessary even if it's recyclable.

I LOVE this pot!! I have a bigger one but it is too big for my husband and I since we are new empty nesters. This pot helps me keep the portions under control for the two of us. I love the color, it is so pretty but it is also totally functional. I can sear roasts or sauté vegetables and finish the cooking process in the oven, which makes for good meals and less clean up.

You get the best of both worlds with this one . It's beautiful and it gets the job done. I used it as soon as I took it out the box and it was seemless. My casserole cooked to perfection and the icing on the cake is that it is also easy on the eyes . So pretty and I love the color!
