Spice Islands Fennel Seed, Kosher, 1.8 oz

Great fennel seed.

I'd read about chewing fennel seeds to aid with digestion. Having fought with heartburn/GERD for almost a year now, this has so far helped as a good way to assist in digestion after eating. They also have a bit of sweetness to them as well, so I don't mind chewing them

Spice Islands Fennel Seed are extremely useful in spaghetti gravy/sauce, softening/chewing for upset stomach or feeling bloated. I love Spice Islands Brand and try to use them especially for special spices. I can also grind these Fennel seeds in my mortar and pestle.

These Fennel seeds were soft and sweet in taste, and were quite easy to dispense directly from the jar. The seeds were fresh and added a basil like flavor and sweetness, along with a peppery like spice to foods. Opening the jar and removing the freshness seal was a breeze. The jar kept the seeds preserved very well during the duration of usage to its complete entirety of use. The jar itself is very smooth, thick and strong, and looks like it can last a long time. The cover of the jar nicely molded and fits the top of the glass jar snug. Thanks so much for reading!

Spice Island is always top tier, I wish they had a larger selection so I could have a complete collection of Spice island spices.

Nice and fresh. Was tired of not finding in stores. Don't know why that should be, as I find that I use it quite a bit.
