I've diced onions most of my life, but now that I'm away from family and big meals and by myself, I find a spoonful of Spice World minced onions and Spice World minced garlic is the start of many good meals 🐕

I thought I would try these pre-chopped onions to see how they performed. Oh my, I was extremely surprized. I may never use a fresh onion again. I used them with chili, salads, pot roast, and more. These prechopped onions performed like a dream. I highly recommend them.

I love that I don't have to have onions going bad on me anymore. I'm not a huge fan of onions, but I do like a small amount for flavor, so this works out perfect for me. I have been doing this with garlic for years, why not onions?! Love this product!

Great to use in all your recipes. Awesome in eggs or hash. The convenience factor had a lot to do with this purchase. Sometimes I need an onion and what I have is NOT ok or I end up not having one and I forgot to buy any. I absolutely LOVE having this in the cupboard (or fridge if I've had to use already)

I love that there is an option for onion like we do for garlic! I will say nothing beats fresh onions for taste, but this absolutely works in a pinch. I did use a little extra because I find the taste isn't as strong as fresh onion, and that's ok. I think this is especially good for toppings such burgers, sandwiches, etc, and in sauces as well. For suits, I would still go the fresh route because I like the big pieces. The shelf life isn't great, I think I had a month at most from the time I ordered it. I'm not sure if they all have that short of a shelf life or if it was just a particular jar I had gotten. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product.

I WOULD have liked the convience since it's hard for me to cut ANY vegetables with my Arthritis. BUT there's NO onion flavor! it's overly soggy out of the jar and has no texture either. I had to use 5 times MORE than the serving size on my sandwich to get a HINT of onion taste and even though I let it drain, it STILL soaked into my bread and dripped out of my sandwich soiling my shirt.

I go through a jar a week of this stuff. I've always loved it but I bought 3 jars last week and they all arrived brown looking. They taste a little different than the other jars I've bought that are a white yellow color.

i have trouble cutting onions due to some paralysis and weak muscles in my hands. i was hoping this would be the answer sadly, i did not like the taste of the product it had an old, musty taste. i tried it twice but the taste of the onion was all i could taste. unfortunately i had to throw away b the rest.
