Crush/grind before using, good value for quantity
These are full sized dried rosemary leaves. To release the flavor they need to be crushed or ground or chopped before use. You can put them in a mortar/pestle, coffee grinder or even small size food processor to grind them a bit, even into powder, that will release the flavor. As they come in the bag, they're a bit hard and might be annoying in your mouth. The price was right for the quantity and it only takes a moment to prepare them for use. I use a lot of dried rosemary in chicken dishes so I just prepared a small quantity and put it in an empty glass spice shaker for later use.
