Spike Gourmet Natural Seasoning, 3 oz (Pack of 6)

My wife and I like the taste of good beef. A lot of seasoning just isn't necessary for our tastes. But Spike is a wonderful blend of subtle spices that brings out the flavor of the meat while staying discreetly in the background. Just use it liberally on both sides before you grill. You'll love it.

A friend recommended Spike to me years ago and I use it on almost anything I use salt and pepper for. I can't eat eggs or potatoes without it anymore. It also tastes good on chicken, steak, pork, even fish. Everyone should try it!

As with any spice, flavoring, or seasoning, taste is subjective. I believe this is an excellent seasoning for any number of reasons, the foremost of these of course is taste. Spike brings life to bland foods and enhances the flavor of so many others including vegetables, meats, and soups. I bought a jar at our local Kroger's store some years ago before they quit selling it, which happens all too often when you find a product you like. Now I buy it in a box at a health food store. I purchased this six pack of jars to include in care/gift packages for family and friends.

I have been using this spice blend for 30 years or more. Sometimes it is hard to find and I was delighted to see I could get it from Walmart. I use it in all my Casseroles, Slaw, Eggs, Chicken Salad, Rice Dishes, Soups, Spaghetti and on Hamburgers. The uses are endless! It does tend to cake up in the jar, but it is easy to use a small spoon or cocktail fork to break it up. Well worth the trouble. It takes me from being a so so cook to Gourmet.

I found this seasoning in a vegetarian cookbook I bought on a trip to California. As it was not sold locally I ordered it on Walmart.com. Spike Seasoning is a wonderful addition to everything. Pasta salad, cooked vegetables, salmon, meat, you name it. I never seen anything like it. It's delicious. At first I thought the six pack was a lot to get at one time but not after tasting it. This will be used up fast.

I meant to get the salt free, which is excellent. The original is pretty good, but it has too much salt for my taste.

Love this product, which has been around for a long time. It is good on meats, vegetables, salads, soups, stew and on ad nauseum. It's fantastic and improves the flavor of what it's added to immensely. Would love to be able to buy it in larger size, say a fair-sized box. Each jar has a shaker head and it could be easily refilled.
