Miss the Extreme Hold. This stuff was awesome! Not happy with the max hold. They need to bring it back. Wish I would have stocked up on it

This is great hair gel. You can put it when hair is wet then comb out went your hair is dry. It provides great hold, doesn't leave flakes when dried and not sticky.

Use it on my son's hair. And the hair style stays all day

Keeps my crazy hair in place!

Why would you discontinue this! Please bring it back, it's the best and only gel I've used for years!

Bought it for my boyfriend. He likes it. Has great hold. A bit expensive now though. Goodness. We may try another brand that is less costly.

it smelled like a. I don't know, maybe you like that smell but I didn't. the good thing is, it doesn't flake and it's strongholding. so if you need something with a heavy hold, but don't like the flaking aspect then this will be great for you. again though, the smell wasn't that great and it interfered with my cologne.

I tried this after the Axe Messy Styling gum was discontinued. The description was similar to the gum however after 3 times using and constantly increasing the amount I use to achieve any styling ability I determined this product is worthless. My hair is only about 3-4" and there is no way this product can 'spike' my hair for more than 1 hr if at all due to the excessive amount needed to achieve anything. Do not waste your time with this product just try something else or pay an inordinate amount for the last of the Messy gum, if you can find any.

another poor replacement to an original that was great to use. very watery and doesn't work well with shorter hair as indicated. I'm 0-for-2 with the 2 new gels that Axe put out (Extreme Hold Gel and Matte Gel). Both have been a disappointment and significant downgrade from their predecessors. I'll give Axe 1 more chance with the Day Long Glue when I finish this, otherwise it's time to find a new brand...
