Spin Blast Fashion Studio

My daughter had a birthday party this weekend so I bought this thinking it would be a fun activity. It was a big hit - and not just with the girls! My son and all the grown ups played with it the whole time and made some awesome looking designs. I got a bunch of cheap canvas bags for the kids to decorate, and had some old plain t-shirts on hand as well. We brought out some of her older clothes (jeans, shoes) and I have to say I was impressed with how they turned out! Some tips - 1) The paint does stain if you don't clean it off surfaces right away, so be sure to use a disposable table cloth. 2) The product comes with a white piece of card stock - I finally figured out that you're supposed to put that underneath the top layer of a t-shirt, so it doesn't stain the back of the shirt as well. The canvas bags we used were thick enough that this wasn't an issue. 3) The letter stencils work best if you use them as a masking tool. I.e., put the letter stickers on your fabric, and then stamp or blast the paint over them. Once dry, remove the stickers. 4) The splat blaster tool is really fun and works well for non-flat surfaces like shoes. We figured out that the first splat is a little messy (the paint comes out in a big glob) - but after that it disperses more evenly. I suggest doing the first splat on a paper plate, and then you can start splattering on your project. We'll definitely be keeping this product on hand for future parties!

My daughters had sooo much fun with this toy. The best part was dripping the paint directly onto the spinning templates to create awesome looking spin art. From there they just stamped it directly onto various apparel items which turned out fantastic. A creative and fun toy for a great price given all that comes with it.

I got this toy for my friends daughter and she really like it so much. It's fun to see when you mixes the color, it's entertaining. She enjoyed it so much playing with all her friends and she wants to buy another one for her friends.

Loved this!! Great activity for the price. Easy to use and keeps my kids busy for hours. Would make a great gift too. Love toys like this that encourage kids to use their own creativity!
