Our family is learning to play chess. Our younger children are enjoying playing checkers included in the set. There's actually 3 game options with the set. The set also looks nice when we leave it on the game table. I like the fact that the game and game pieces are in a storage case. Definitely worth the price.

nice 1st step set or for family game night. this was for my 10 year old grandson. he loves chess and is just learning. he was so happy when this was on the doorstep when he got home from school. now he's expressed an intrest in learning backgammon.

It's a very old game that is very enjoyable to play.

I never received this product since it was delivered to the wrong mobile home! This is the 2nd time Walmart'shi delivery person left my order at the wrong house. They will not refund or replace until after 48 hours and this was a xmas gift. Now it may be out of stock or might not arrive in time. I gave my lot number and detailed instructions on how to find my house which was obviously not read or I would have received it. I am now deciding whether I even want to use Walmart's delivery service in the future or stop buying from Walmart period. One time I can understand, but twice in less then 4 months apart. Unacceptable delivery service!

I purchased this to give as a Christmas gift, however, when I received it, it was not the quality I expected.
