Spinrite Caron Simply Soft 100% Acrylic Black Yarn, 315 yd

I and many others love this yarn. And not all are human. I've made many afghan's, shawls, slippers and other things out of the Caron Simply Soft yarns of all colors. Beautiful colors, soft and pleasant to use, washes up nice every time, plus a few types of yarns such as the speckle and other patterns that are not coming to mind right now. If it's Caron Simply Soft, I have used it. Some of the dogs and cats in our family have taken over the use of afghan's and shawls. Try it and see for yourself. I will never stop using it for sure.

I am in a group of women who meet each week to knit and crochet baby hats for three hospitals. We only use Caron Simply Soft usually in plain colors. I tried two Speckle yarns, one called "Galaxy" which is blue and dark blue, and the other called "Wisteria" which is lavender and purple. I loved the way they turned out and so did the others in the group. I've since bought two more colors "Lipstick" which is pink and red, and "Abyss" which is blue and green. If you like mixing colors, I highly recommend Caron Simply Soft Speckle yarns.

This yarn is beautiful when crocheted. Makes a lovely blanket for baby boys.

I love Caron simply soft speckle yarn all the colors are just beautiful, I love to make garments out of this yarn. I'm using the red lipstick 💄 color an it's looking good.

I bought this yarn a month ago and I'm so glad I did! The color is spectacular and I love the soft feel of the Caron Simply Soft Peckle Yarn as I crochet my vintage pullover sweater. This is the first time I've used this yarn to create a project and I'm hooked! That means I'll be back for more of this fantastic yarn to make more inventive projects. I'm currently working on a project using Caron Simply Soft Speckle and I'm really enjoying it so far. The yarn is incredibly soft and smooth, which makes it comfortable to work with even during longer crochet sessions. It glides nicely on the hook and the stitches look clean and defined. One of my favorite things about this yarn is the speckled color effect. It adds a lot of visual interest to the project without needing complicated stitches, and the colors blend beautifully as you work. Even though my project isn't finished yet, I'm very happy with how it's turning out and would definitely use Caron Simply Soft Speckle again for future projects.

Years ago I made a knitted argyle vest with simply soft and it turned out to be so pretty. The yarn feels soft, has a lovely drape, good stitch definition, and was washed repeatedly and kept its shape. This time the garment is a crochet granny stitch cardigan and it is working up beautifully. The quality of the yarn is just as good as it was a couple of decades ago. The speckle pattern provides a great background for colorwork.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a huge fan of Caron yarns except for the cake yarn. It's awesome. This yarn is truly very soft and good quality for sure. Only lacking is the yardage. Wish yardage was more but it is pretty much standard and couldn't beat the price.
