Splat Complete Kit, Ombre Rain, Semi-Permanent Purple & Pink Hair Dye with Bleach

Been using this exact dye for 5 years! Always loved how it turns out .just be sure to use gloves , and maybe Vaseline on your skin to avoid staining if you don’t want to be dyed blue for a couple days!

I love having these 2 different color options, you can start with the blue and fade to turquoise or start with turquoise and fade to blue — can also mix together for a bold bright blue! Doesn't make a big mess like some reds and purples do. Be sure to rinse with cold water!

For starters, yes, the amount isn't enough to dye your hair (you should work on that), but other than that, IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING, this product is amazing. I had to use alot of bleach and color, as I have long hair. But once it was all said and done, my colors were vibrant and beautiful. Just a little tip for those that color, don't wash your hair in warm water. Use cold water. It keeps the color vibrant. Hot water washes it out. Second, don't wash your hair everyday. Twice a week if you can handle it. Your color will last for months. I did my hair in the beginning of July, it's only NOW beginning to fade. I love this product and will use it over and over. I would give 5 stars if the shade of purple included in this kit was available by itself. It is not comparable to the other purples offered by Splat and I hate that I have to pay more for it because it's a two color kit and that I end up with bottles of pink dye that I don't use. I have used the pink at times when I was out of money for die for a long time and needed to add some pep to my hair. but the purple fades to a really really beautiful light pink that lasts for a very long time and so the pink is not necessary in my opinion but the purple is just gorgeous Shane and it's a versatile dye. I have used it by itself as the box recommends but I've also mixed it in with my conditioner and made it more pastel and done it once or twice a week in the shower and just left it for a few minutes and not only did it tone my blonde but it also tinted my hair pastel purple it was very beautiful! This Splat is my favorite purple dye and it's sad that it's hard so hard to find anywhere. Thank goodness Walmart has almost everything!

I used this dye recently and was very pleased with the overall results. I have shoulder-length hair that is very thick and was a dark red before I used Splat, so I used 2 kits to have enough bleach (had to bleach 2 times) and enough of the purple dye. I only needed to use one bottle of the blue however. The purple seemed to just soak into my hair so I had to use almost 2 whole bottles of it. I have a little purple left over for touch ups, and I had a whole bottle of the blue left - enough to do my son's hair and still have about half a bottle left. It looks very good and I'm happy with the results - much more affordable than going to the salon!

this hair dye used to last last two weeks, or about 2 weeks. now washes out after the first washing of your hair after you die it. I don't know if they change the formula or something like doesn't last anywhere near as long as it used to.

My hair turned green. I have colored my hair every color possible with success. When I used splat, the purple did not show and the blue was green. I was better off going to Sally's!

i mean it got here in a reasonable time, but when i buy something new, at the full price, i kinda expect it to be new. my box looks like its been ripped open then taped back together.

My daughter has very short albeit thick hair, there was not enough bleach to do all her hair, it took 2 kits. Then there was not enough of the color to saturate her hair. There was only a tiny bit in the purple. I should have weighed it, I don't think it had all in it that it should have. Lastly, the blue came out very green, not what we expected at all. We've used many varieties of Splat so we're familiar with the kit and how to use it and are usually happy with the results, but this one was quite poor. Can't recommend the Ombre Dream. Better to get 2 regular kits, one purple and one blue and just combine it.
