Sport-Brella 8'' Red Beach Umbrella,Lightweight

This was exactly what I was looking for. Me and my family went to the beach with a regular "beach umbrella" and within 5 minutes, the wind had destroyed it. So I went looking for something that would sustain the beach winds, and I thought this one looked good so I bought it. Well this past weekend we took it out for a test ride and it was perfect. It withstood the wind (and it was an extra windy day). It gives you a place to keep you and your stuff out of the sun (if you want). It has windows to keep the breeze coming through (also if you want or need it). It was easy "enough" to put together. One person could probably put it up, but two people can put it up very easily. The only thing I didn't quite get was the number of "stakes" it gives you to secure down the umbrella. It comes with "4" of the "Fat" stakes, and there are "6" holes. It also comes with "pin-like" skinny stakes too, but they were not very helpful. I would like to have "6" of the "Fat" stakes!! and then just use the "skinny" ones for the extra cord security only. But don't let that stop you from getting this!! It really was nice to have at the beach (and I am sure it would be easy enough to find two more of the bigger stakes. (oh yea...and we didn't need a hammer to shove the stakes into the sand. All I did was to step on them with my (thick bottom)sandal and push).

Used it at the Saturday track meet and it stayed put. With 18 +/- MPH wind, I had no issues. Well made and easy to put up. Love it. Can't wait to use it again.

Great for the beach, keeps the sun off the kids!! Good in the rain for the kids so sit in during outside sports!!

We purchased this as portable shade for our two fair skinned little girls. It sets up really easy and quickly! I like how it can rest on the ground with side flaps, or stuck into the ground like a traditional umbrella. A must buy!

I ordered 2 an one was broken it would not open I did not have time to return it beacuse I was going back to canada.I repaired it myself and now it works.One of the envelopes was stained with oïl. I wrote a E-Mail to the company SKLZ.
