I originally bought the Large size, which were way too big for me, male with what I believe are average size hands. I returned those and bought the Medium size, which are perfect. If you look at the picture of them being worn, you see how your hand size should 'fit' on the paddles. There is a 'size' option / link which indicates the width and length of each size. You should definitely use that!

The best paddles there are for any swim workouts. They are cheap but effective! It's all you really need for improving your swim speed! I purchased the medium paddles to provide some of the best resistance for an average swimmer. Easy to pack away in any gym bag!

Great and comfortable product to use during practice. Pulls lots of water and doesn't hurt fingers when using for a long time.
