SportPet Designs Medium Soft-Sided Pop-Open Cat & Dog Travel Kennel, Gray

This crate was purchased to use while traveling. My pup is used to her crate at home as well as a metal crate in the car. Wanting something a little smaller and a bit less expensive, I stepped down from the metal cage never giving it a second thought regarding her behavior. NOTE: If your pet is hyperactive or has any aggression whatsoever THEY WILL GET OUT OF THIS PARTICULAR CRATE. She was NOT happy. The Velcro will not restrain a willful dog. I PROMISE YOU. She also chewed holes in it. Just wanted to share my experience. The quality of the product is not in question. It is made well. It was just not a match with my pup's temperament.

This is a great pop- up kennel for a dog that is used to being kenneled. It is a little flimsy but what you would expect with a pop-up kennel. I have a 6 lb Yorkie that is use to being kenneled and sleeping in one overnight. We purchased this kennel for when we travel. We purchased the green one that didn't come with the bells and whistles because we didn't need the extra items. I purchased the medium size and it's a few inches longer than her metal kennel that she sleeps in but the hight and width are the same. I have a nice flat dog bed that fits perfectly in the bottom so the bottom is completely covered. I put a light weight blanket over the kennel (that's how she sleeps in her metal kennel) and she slept all night so it's a keeper. I don't know how it would work with a rambunctious dog or one that wanted out but it certainly is more convenient to travel with. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. Beware that it does pop open quickly. lol

we have adopted a little 3 mo old kitten. We originally got this for her to sleep in, but it's so big we put her toys in it %26 she goes in there %26 plays in it. There's plenty of room for her to run around and play then at night we zip it up %26 she has a night time bed. It pops up so easily just kind of stand back because it opens with a force.

Perfect for my and puppy needs!! Pops up very easily and so lightweight to move anywhere I need for our small place. Front large opening with zippered mesh closure when needed. Also mesh opening in side with attached cover to darken when needed. Great price and great seller as was delivered quickly.

Our older puppy loves this as her new crate!! It's easy for her to climb in and out of. It allows her to be able to see out, but does not allow the other dogs to be able to get to her food! She can stretch out and relax!!!

I use this for my cat for temporary confinement while I am away in classes. My cat stays in my dorm, and is protected and has a lot of space. I am 5'2 and I can fully fit in this carrier, if that matters.

I have to struggle to sip the screen and it doesn't always stay up when rolled and velcroed. The size is great. screens on all 4 side for the dogs to see out but not interfere with company. The dogs like it and will go in by themselves to sleep. When I have friends over I put them in it so they can see everything that is going on but stay out of the way and not bother the guests. Good quality and reasonably priced. no assembly it pops right up into shape.

I would get this pop up-carry, w/seatbelt attachment-tent style crate for a dog that doesn't chew, lol, I pu at a great price for a french bulldog mxd puppy, not smart! Puppys need to chew, their baby teeth hurt. After teething it'll be great for traveling! Going to save mine till she's no longer teething, lol, it folds bk down, to fit in a bag u cld throw over ur shoulder, it's not like a metal crate, it's mainly jst for travel, or a well behaved dog.

It was too large for my cat. The design is fine. It just pops into shape. However, to collapse and place in its small bag is a challenge. I was hoping for a smaller version to transport my cat to the vet.

This 'cat/dog kennel'' is made of the thinnest polyester you can imagine. It is put together so poorly, every time one of the ½lb kittens went inside, it imploded on the poor thing!! I tried reinforcing it to no avail. I do not recommend and regret the purchase as it turned out to be a waste of money.
