SportRack by Thule SR8106 Vista Roof Cargo Bag, Medium, Black

Used the bag to carry two large suitcases on the roof. Fit well, secured well. Took trip from NJ to NC and back. Did not have any rain while driving so I cannot review how well the bag holds up to rain while driving. I did test its waterproof abilities under the shower in the bathtub and it didn't leak there. I'm happy with the product and haven't found any flaws. I didn't give excellent rating because it was not tested in rain while driving nor was the bag completely filled. P.S: the instructions provide helpful tips on ensuring waterproof ability such as putting the zipper toward the back, so I highly suggest reading the entire page of instructions before use because they are helpful.

Purchased this for more cargo space on a family vacation and was very pleased with it. It's well constructed, secures easily, and performed well. I packed it full and had no flapping or noise issues. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we didn't really encounter any rain, so I can't comment on how water proof it is.

The bag held up for a 1200 mile trip with no ripping or noises. We used ratchet straps as a back up, but they may not have been needed. we experienced torrential downpour of rain for about 2 days straight. unfortunately all of our items were soaked and smelled musty upon arrival. That was even after a layer of a waterproofing spray. so would not recommend if you plan on putting anything in it that isn't water proof.
