Purchased for our grandson to play on while at our home. Assembly was one-person easy. Colors are bright and there are safety features ie. caps over bolts, yellow flags over trampoline legs, and padding on the trampoline bar. The swings and slide are a beautiful blue and sturdy. Only drawback is the first step to the slide is a little too high and far apart for him to get on by himself. Wish the bars were closer together.
Smaller than I expected and definitely not for larger or older children Took 3 1/2 hours to Put up Your own tools and a drill make the process a bit easier I'm sure my grandchildren will enjoy it They are 3 yrs old and under
This is a very nice little swing set. It does take while to put together. Although it is not hard. There are a lot of items. The hundreds of of nuts, bolts, washers, etc. as well as the large items are individually wrapped and labeled. The weight limit for the children is 80 lbs. So only younger kids. So far, it appears to be a great value.
I was looking at the wooden swing sets and refused to pay a lot for the little bit of time my grandkids will use it. We put this together yesterday -- super easy and very sturdy. My grandson immediately started jumping on the trampoline....lots of fun.
This swingset was trying for my son to put together. I bought it for my grandkids and so my son put it together for us. It took him about 4 or 5 hours to put together. The worst part was putting the trampoline together since it was very difficult to stretch the springs to attach. There were only exactly enough screws, bolts, etc. to put it together. No extras. We lost a piece of couple of times but eventually found it and continued on. However, when it was finally put together, my grandkids love it. I also purchased the anchoring set and I am glad I did because when they get on the glider, the swingset base would fly up without it. The slide sits directly on the ground so the little ones bounce on their behind at the end of the slide but they don't seem to mind. It is very sturdy when all assembled.
Nice swing set. does take awhile to put together and I suggest at least 2 people. Hardest part is the trampoline net, you need to be strong once you get the majority of the springs on. overall good product and kids love it!
Overall, we are really happy with this swingset. My kids (ages 1.5 and 3) love all of it. It took my husband and I around 5 hours to set it up. The trampoline was really hard - getting the springs to stretch was near impossible, but once we figured out to have one person stretch the spring and the other hammer it in when it was at the top of the hole, then it went much faster. The slide also does not line up well with the frame of the swingset, so it actually pulls it off the ground. The slide seems to be supporting the swingset just fine, because my kids have used it with no problem. The slide is easy enough to remove, so I'm not too worried about it. Overall, it's a great set, and my kids love it - especially the trampoline.
It's easy to follow the instructions to install. I just asked my hubby to tighten most of the screws and to put the springs on the trampoline. Unfortunately, the manufacturer didn't include the cork screw (to place on the ground) to be part of the set. Home Depot, Lowes ang other hardware store don't sell that kind of cork screw (even on websites). My 4 yr old daughter and her friends love it and they're having so much fun with it even if I didn't put the cork screw. This set is so affordable and I'm hoping that it will last at least 3 more years. The metal main frame and most of the parts will rust because of the weather, but I'm sure kids will enjoy it until they outgrown the play set. Overall, I'm glad I bought it.
Instructions terrible to read andunderstand, easier to look at picture on box. Tool to install springs on trampoline is useless. Only way i could install springs by myself, I used 2 foot long 3/8 extension hooked on trampolin attachment and shoved in ground so i could pull trampoline to me, and big heavy duty phillips screwdriver hooked into spring and trampoline attachment. I pulled 3/8 extension to me and screw driver and spring away to hook spring onto trampoline attachment. That was the only way i could do it alone. Hook spring on on side corner and spring on opposite side corner, skipping every other hook up so that you have half of the springs on each side. Then do the other 2 sides the same way. Then go back and do it all over again to install the other half of the springs. Enjoy !
We ordered this, received it later than we were supposed to. When we opened it & started putting it together, we noticed damaged AND missing pieces. Three hours later and it was still not finished. Had to contact the manufacturer to replace missing pieces. Over a week later, and we still haven't received them. You can also only contact that dept by email! It's hard for kids to understand why they have a new swingset but are unable to play on it. The slide is also very cheaply made. It isn't one solid piece, as I had first thought. I would've returned it, if we hadn't already had 3 hours invested in it & had it over half way assembled. There were also a ton of pieces that were not labeled or the bags with the label marlins were just thrown in the box and not wrapped around the part. I am not happy with this purchase. The trampoline does seem to be of good quality though.
