Sportspower North Peak Wooden Swing Set

This swing set contained great instructions and was pretty manageable to put together the kids sure loved it they played for hours upon hours . This is a must have especially with nice weather coming up soon !

Awesome swing set for the price! This swing set was bought for our best friends little 2 yr old and he spends hours on it! The set up was pretty good but for sure lay out the parts first before you start building. So far so good!!

This is a neat little swing set. I love the little club house and how it has a San box at the bottom of it. It says it only can hold about 6 kids and 100 pounds or less. The top is thin so I'm not sure how that will hold up but I guess we shall see. Kids are happy and excited. I would recommend this definitely. Seems like it will be pretty good.

We were very excited to receive this since the playset my kiddos had was falling apart. My husband and kids spent time together sorting and assembling the set. The set comes in 2 boxes and are quite heavy as you would expect since wood and all accessories are included. As far as assembly, the manual was not incredibly helpful with instructions and my husband had to routinely look ahead to see what the pictures showed. Several didn't specify which way pieces should have faced and they had to redo when they advanced several steps. Due to that assembly took approximately 6 hours. However....at the end my 5 year old was OVER the moon with his new playset!! The awning is thin but provides a nice covering and when we finished it was raining some but the landing under the awning was still almost completely dry. The rock wall/ladder is a cute sturdy piece as well as the ladder. Pieces are sturdy, smooth and feel safe which is one of the most important things when it comes to safe play! The set shows it can hold a max of 5 kids weighing 100lbs or less but I would recommend it for smaller kiddos. It is a nice set and we know it will last my 5 year old for several good years. Larger kiddos may find the landing small or the swings may feel unsteady. I would highly recommend this for families with younger children (and have already) with the price point

I have had the privilege of recieving and trying out the Sportspower North Peak Wooden Swing Set, and I have to say, that I have mixed feelings! The finished product is outstanding! I love it, love it, love it!!! But the journey to get to the finished product, was nothing short of a bumpy road, with potholes along the way! I wanna start by saying that it's a little smaller than I expected@ which is ok, my younger daughter is only 2 so it works out well for her! My oldest daughter is 7, and it seems as if she enjoys it as well! So unboxing this thing, dont get intimidated, there are a bunch of parts, and there is a ton of screws! But if you can persevere through the feeling of not wanting to put it alm together, then it's really not all that bad! So my issue with this set is the directions that come with it! They are not very clear with what they want you to do, and they also aren't very specific with the orientation of the individual parts! I found myself taking apart and turning around a few steps because they weren't very specific! I even ran across a couple spots where it tells you to use the wrong hardware to install it. I have a building background, so I was able to figure it out, but an average Joe with no building knowledge would have a super hard time putting this together...I do love the product, now that it's up! and my daughters love it too!

Sportspower North Peak Wooden Swing Set: I have had this swing set setup for about 2 weeks now and have not had any issues with it. I have 3 kids and they love it. The instructions were a little difficult to follow and had to go by the pictures more than anything else and as with most things of this size, it did take a little while get things organized and setup in a way that would be easier for us to put it together. My 10 yr old seems a little big for it but my 7 and 5 yr old love it and use it all the time. Where I live I get snow and so it will probably not get used that much but we will see how durable it is after the snow season and the rainy season. It seems sturdy and hopefully it can weather the conditions where I live. The plastic slide is probably not the sturdiest slide I have seen but as long as you do not very many bigger kids on it, it should hold up fine. I think slides on other swing sets are thicker and could hold better but for my 7 yr old and 5 yr old, it holds them just fine.

This review is for the Sportspower North Peak Wooden Swing Set. First of all, it was missing the proper hardware, an entire package of screws so we had to run out to get hardware. Secondly, this thing took 2 days to put together about 16 hours. The main reason this happened is because the hardware that comes with this just doesn't work well. All the hardware won't stay attached and they strip and come out of the wood easily. We went back to the hardware store again to get stuff to make it secure. Thirdly, however they explain to secure the slide was impossible for us, probably because the instructions are not very clear to begin. Another thing is the wood bar that goes on front where the handle goes would have been lopsided because the pre drilled hole was an inch off so we just left that part off. The roof is a thin cloth, thinner than a sheet so that won't last long and since we never received the hardware for that it is currently being held together with push pins. One of the yellow "rocks" on the rock climbing wall stripped out of the wood within one hour of use. Two of the wood steps are cracked across the center so I don't expect those to last long. The two large wood boards above the swings are also cracked through 3/4 of the wood. The chalkboard is actually a tarp, although that is also lopsided it does work well and can be erased easily with a cloth. The swings are decent and can be adjusted. The wood is rough. I do wish they put an age range on the website but I finally found it in the instructions and it says up to age 10. My son is having fun with it but if it was not for us spending money on replacing half of the hardware there is no way I would have let my son use this. I do not recommend this at all. The only positive is seeing my son's excitment and watching him spend hours on it last night.

Some of the brand new wood was cracked. Wood is thin and cheap! Few months of having this and many more planks had cracked! It took months to get replacement parts. I feel this is unsafe and don't recommend.

Horrible directions, missing parts, multiple of the same part that aren't needed. Small. Not worth the money!

Got this swingset for my daughter for Easter and upon recieving there were no instructions in the box. We have tried to get ahold of customer service the last 3 hours and they dont seem to have the manual either. Not happy
