Sportspower Super 8 Metal Swing Set Slide Component box 1 of 2

I was very pleased with the swing set. I had a party for my granddaughter, There were lots of kids and they all enjoyed it. When I was shopping my granddaughter said *Grandma I'm a kid I know what kids like get this one (swing set). That was the best investment I made in a long time. All the kids loved the swings, it was always full while the party was going. I truly was amazed how much fun those kids could have on the swings, and how many kids fit on the swings. My granddaughter just turned six and she goes outside to sit on the swings before she goes to school in the morning. I have video of it, but it's at my daughters.

We bought this swing set for our house for our 3 kids, ages 1yr old, 3 year old and 11yr old. We didn't put the sea saw swing up yet, we have my son's infant swing in that place for now. But my kids love this set, they play on it for hours! My only 2 cons is one, the slide steps are soooo slippery when wet. (We have a pool in our backyard) We added sandpaper strips but this is only because my kids swim, then swing and back to the pool. Second con is the horse doesn't have a foot bar to get on or for balance while swinging, I believe your supposed to put your feet forward on its front bar maybe but my kids are small and won't be able to reach that for along time! We have a step stool under it so my kids can get on it without assistance, my husband is looking to add something to it but hadn't figured what just yet. We just recently purchased this for great Grama's house too for all the grandkids visiting. We really love this swing set!

I bought this for my 3yr old grandson and he loves it. it took me and my son 2 days to put it together. Our system was i read the directions and pieced everything together and he came behind me and tightned everything as i moved to the next step. Directions were pretty easy to read and every single piece was marked. (NOTE) there are alot of pieces to it as this is a big swing. When you first open the box it can look overwhelming. it really is not that bad, only reason it took me 2 days to put it together is because i had a party later in the afternoon. if you have a small yard i would not recommend it. My grandson loves it and hope we get many yrs of use.

Swing arrived ahead of shipping time. Pick-up at the store was easy and the people helpful. Put the swing together in about 5 hours. Few nuts and bolts were missing but other than that it was pretty easy. Lay all the pieces out on the ground first. Had all the tools ready and now the kids are having a blast.

My wife and I ordered this swing for our two Grand kids and it was a big success! Arrived at the store as scheduled, we picked it up and the staff were courteous and loaded it in the truck for us. We came home and it took she and I about 4 hours to assemble following the instuctions to the T and everything went smoothly! Our 9 year old grandson was already here and loved it! When the 3 year old grand daughter arrived she was in heaven! we are very satisfied! When the grandkids are happy, we are happy! Glad we ordered this from Wal Mart!

It is a nice swing set. My twins love the saucer because they can sit in it together and the baby liked it because she she can lay and swing. The twins are 22months and able to use the slide by themes self's. The only con my husband and I have is it takes just as long to put the horse together as it does for the rest of the whole set. But the instructions were easy to follow and parts labeled well. With how much the kids live it it was all worth it!

I bought this set for my 3 year old granddaughter. I had been looking at many sites at swing sets and this one look to be just right for her with the horse & circle swings. The price was excellent and free shipping. My granddaughter loves it and we have spent many hours playing on it, she can’t get enough. I am a retired aircraft mechanic and the assembly took me about 5 hours by myself. It would have been a little easier if you have a helping hand. The directions are very clear and all of the parts and hardware is labeled clearly. I would recommend you use your own tools if you have them. I did not use the tools that come with the set and I am sure this saved some time. There is no spare hardware once you’re done, it is an exact count. I did not anchor it in the ground with cement like the directions recommend. I purchased an anchoring kit separate and used that. As a matter of fact if you put it in the ground like it recommends I believe the regular swing would be too low to the ground and you would have to shorten the chains somehow.

I was excited when we bought this for our 2 year old daughter for her birthday. She loved it at the store and the reviews were good enough for me. My husband and his brother put it together in about 3 hours and we weren't missing parts like others said in their reviews. It was very cute and pretty sturdy definately made for younger, smaller children. Although when my daughter ran to it on her birthday, we were slightly disappointed, b/c she was way to short to get on anything and the steps for the ladder are so far apart it scared me. I know she's only 2 so I got a 6 year old to test it out and same problem, the saucer you literally have to jump in, or be put into. The steps for the ladder are spread out a little too far and the horse which was our favorite feature on the swingset, has nothing for the children to get onto it, or rest their feet. I honestly though it would have some type of foot rest bar like most horses, but even a six year old could not climb onto it by herself. I am slightly disappointed in this flaw but my husband is very handy and is planning to make something for my daughters feet on the horse. So to conclude maybe a little flawed but overall we really like it.

I ordered this swing set for my 3 year old daughter. The flying saucer and the horse were what sold me! My husband and I were able to assemble both of them in the cool of our house before taking them outside to hang on the frame (very nice). Two things we did not like, however. Some of the bolts that held the horse together stuck out past the plastic holes and are leg scratches waiting to happen. We are going to buy some caps to cover them if possible (not included in the hardware). The last thing we needed to put together was the slide. We found that the factory failed to drill 4 holes in the slide so it could be attached to a cross bar. Thankfully my husband had a drill that could do the job, but it was not a good surprise as this was the last thing to do and the trying to get the drill to come in at a straight angle was very difficult on two of the holes. Other than the horse bolts and the lack of some of the holes on the slide it is a great set and one that will be used for years.

Horrible experience, took over four hours to put together because none of the holes lined up, missing several screws, nuts, bolts an some screws that were provided were too big. My husband had to keep running down to his shop to find screws to match. Then, the horse part of the swing, they gave us two right sides. Not a left an right side, two right sides! It was for our daughters 5th birthday the next day so we were not about to take the whole thing apart to return it at that point, so we made it work. Very frustrating project, an the worst engineering ever.
