Sporty's Aviation Gifts Cessna 172 Die-Cast Model, Limited Edition, Metal Display Aircraft

I applaud Sporty's for marketing this extremely accurate, all metal die cast model of the Cessna 172. This model is manufactured to a high standard of quality rather than a bargain price. Remember the old adage, "The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten."

Hi. Very nice model but the main gear legs are on backwards. As shown on my models, the main gear legs are angled back from top to bottom. The box art of your model clearly shows this too. The stabilizer also has very steep dihedral. It is supposed to be straight horizontal side to side. Overall very true to scale model!!

Beautiful model. I had a 1960 built 172. This brings back great memories .

Model is of the same quality and detail as the previous five Cessna models in my "fleet". Looking forward to the 2026 edition.

Excellent little model and I was surprised that there were differences between the other 172 and this one besides paint. Very nice surprise!

Received four stars because the wire mounting stand insertion point into the belly of the fuselage is extremely difficult and limited in depth. Thus, Unable to securely attach and mount the model. Fit and finish on the model was Great!
