I used the Spot Solution on an area rug in my son's room. I am not sure what caused the stain on the rug but I applied the spot solution and it removed it. Super easy to use. It states to use a white cloth, which I did not have but used a paper towel and it worked fine for me. The product does not have an odor, which is nice. It also did not cause any discoloration to the carpet itself. Just out of curiosity I tried it on my son's sweatshirt that he got hot sauce on and it did not remove the stain but that is not what the Spot Solution is designed for. I am very satisfied with this product.

SPOT SOLUTION is very easy to use and I value uncomplicated cleaning solutions. It works perfectly on pet stains and will also sanitize the area you are cleaning. This means that your pet will not sniff it out and soil the area repeatedly. Pets tend to go on their usual spots making it frustrating. It gives me piece of mind knowing this will not happen again. I also like that it works on blood stains since my husband tends to bleed easily and I find blood stains on pillows, sheets and his favorite chair. Obviously it was safe to use on his chair and bedding. SPOT SOLUTION is non-toxic and safe around children as well as pets. I am able to add solution to the fluid tank in the steam machine to pick up carpet stains. For regular stains I pour SPOT SOLUTION on a clean cloth and place over the stain with and blot to pick the stain up. I'll repeat for stubborn stains. This is a very useful stain remover.

This worked great on coffee stains in my carpet and on the upholstery of my favorite chair. It took a few tries, but finally got out the tough stain. The coffee stain was a little old, so it took a little extra effort.

i have been using this for over a year. There are not enough good things I can say about it. It gets out all my rug stains better then any product Ive ever used and I have 4 kids and 3 dogs. So glad I can now get from Walmart!

I received the Spot Solution stain remover in the mail. As well as it was packaged, the plug in the top of the bottle had worked its way out and the product had leaked into the plastic zipper bag it was in. It was pretty messy, but it did show that the solution was potent enough to remove the ink from the bottle's label. I imagine if it had soaked a while, it would have removed it completely. The packaging of the product was a simple, flip top plastic squeeze bottle, which worked well for distribution of the product. I really like that the product has no odor, as I have allergies to a lot of cleaning products. Since the label on the bottle was erased by the leak, I looked on the insert that came with the Spot Solution. It gave a website where I was able to find simple directions and suggestions for use. I was pretty excited to get to test this product on a tough stain caused by a mess my cat recently made. The stain was caused by the red dye in her food. I squeezed some of the spot remover onto a clean cloth and began to dab, then scrub the spot. Even after following the directions, the stain, although lighter, was still visible. I actually tried pouring the Spot Solution directly onto the stain with not difference. I did, however, see transferring of the stain onto the cloth. I also picked up a lot of dirt from the carpet, which shows that it is capable of being a good product to use in a carpet cleaner. I also used the Spot Solution on various spots on the carpet and got good results. Overall, this is a good spot remover. Just doesn't seem to work on really tough stains.

I use carpet cleaners for pet stains that absorb into the carpet/pad. This product cleans the surface and doesn't not saturate the carpet. The directions state the fluid is to be applied to a white cloth then the cloth is pressed into the carpet for transfer of chemical to carpet and stain transfer to white cloth. This part does work perfectly---it's a bit magical, as I did it with an old pet stain and the discoloration did transfer to the cloth. However, the stain remained in the carpet pile just below the surface where the white cloth didn't touch. The product is fantastic, esthetically, but not practical for pet stains.

the otem was packaged poorly. it was smashed and leaked about 1/3 of the contents into the package. I have not used it yet so don't know how well it works.
