I bought this portfolio for my twin daughters who started middle school this year. Daughter A asked for the pink portfolio at the beginning of the school year. She is very organized and the portfolio helped her organize her school assignments. Daughter B was not interested in a portfolio initially. She was struggling with her adjustment to middle school, and had no interest in being organized. After Christmas break, daughter B asked me to purchase the gold portfolio for her. Daughter B used the portfolio to organize her assignments. She was able to make a miraculous transformation from completely chaotic to exceptionally organized. Both daughters love the look of their portfolios and how it helps them keep their academic lives in order!

Pretty but the quality was not as good as I'd hoped. The outside is not a faux leather. It's shiny and every time I touched it left fingerprints. I returned it.
