Permatex is always a quality product. This sealer specifically does not set until there is no oxygen present. That's what anarobic means.

Vigger than it looks
It's actually fantastic, the picture makes it seem like the tube is smaller than it is, but this is a pretty hardy amount of gasket maker. using it on my supercharger

Hmmm!
As I am sure it's ok, it just seemed to me to be a little old/dry as when I went to squeeze it out of the tube it was EXTREEMLY difficult. That is, using the existing applicator hole which was very small. I could have enlarged it, but wanted the bead of material small. Again, it's probably just me!
