Spring Valley Alpha Lipoic Acid Dietary Supplement Capsules for Antioxidant Support, 200 mg, 100 Count

This was prescribed as a supplement to help restless leg syndrome. Research tells me it is a good quality and reasonably priced supplement, but I don't know yet about its effects on the RLS - that may take a while.

I use this as it was recommended by a friend for neuropathy I already take gabapentin and this works great with it

Search internet and found this helps neck pain. My neck is gone with continued use of alpha lipoid acid! Not had any leg cramps since I started using this product! My blood sugar is more stable too, less lightheadedness. Great product.

I love everything about taking Alpha Liopic Acid. I have neuropathy in both feet with stabbing nerve pain . I have always taken this supplement because it eases the pain and also keeps my sugar level in its normal range. I would reccomend this product , very good buy

Great product but a side effect for me is that it causes sudden need for the restroom. Gotta drink extra water when taking it.

I like the way this has helped my neuropathy %26 inflammation issues. My quality of life is not perfect, it's not a miracle, nothing is though. I can have worked to a point of ache %26 pain at night. But wake up pain free in the morning. That simply was not happening at all before. Now waking up pain free had far more to do with how far I have pushed myself. If I stay within pain parameters %26 stop at a certain point I can wake up with 24 hour recovery. I can make improvements now. I take this as directed 3 times a day usually. There is a problem of needing to have something already in my stomach %26 getting it well washed down. I usually take this with food as otherwise it creates an acid reflux burn. But of course it as an acidic supplement. So precautions are needed in taking it.

I took another brand of Alpha Lipoic Acids for a year w/o any side effects. I tried Spring Valley brand as I've done ok with their Vite D so wanted to see if saving some money would be ok here too. Within 3 days of starting it I started to get small patches of red, itchy transient rashes on my arms %26 legs, then even on my trunk. After about 10 days I figured out that was the only change to diet etc I'd made so stopped it %26 the rashes stopped w/i 24 hours. I waited 2 weeks %26 tried again %26 this time the rashes started w/i 2 days so I stopped right away. This product is either not what it claims to be, is contaminated or an added ingredient is harmful. DO NOT BUY IT!
