Low dosage Iron tablets (27mg) at a terrific price

Alex January 24, 2017

My mother could not take the high dose Iron supplements (45-65 mg) due to stomach upset, so she can only take these low dosage iron supplements once at breakfast and once at dinner. These were the best buy that I could find on the web because they were only $4.88 per bottle of 250 tablets.

Needed Iron for low red blood cell count. Could not take the 54 mg tablets caused stomach problems. These work fine. Also take vitamin b12 with it.

The price is right!

sjc04 July 24, 2012

I used to buy this all the time at my local Walmart, but in the last year or so, it is never in stock. This is the strength I want, so guess I will have to order online. The only drawback is the extra money spent for S&H. Guess that's a small price to pay--I just stocked up and bought 4 bottles. 1000 tablets should last for a while.

Great source of iron

Supergirl September 18, 2015

These tablets are great and so helpful to my body it's like I'm back to my old energetic self ! I am a bit of anemia and have been for a while my doctor told me I need more Iron. Being that I'm a vegetarian I thought I was getting lots of iron from all the green veggies and other certain foods I eat but I guess it wasn't enough. For the pass two months I have been overly tired weak headaches and joint pains everyday to the point I couldn't get out of bed from all the weakness I felt over my entire body. I began taking the 27mg spring valley iron tablets once a day being that my doctor said thats all I need, within a week the headaches stop I wasn't feeling tired and wanting to back to bed at 10am in the morning and I got my strength back. Now I'm able to make it through the day without my eyes being heavy burning and needed to take a nap before the middle of the day. These iron tablets work wonders for me but very hard to find 27mg or lower in stores. Happy I found them online. Thanks spring valley and walmart !

Good value for traditional dosage

MrPaul March 1, 2016

It is getting harder to find the 27mg dosage for iron, but the higher dosages so often cause stomach upset. Even harder is finding these at a value price for ordering a larger quantity. This item does both. Stock-up.

Poor customer service.

Kenneth May 6, 2020

Did not order this. I ordered 65mg iron supplement through the HealthyBenefits catalog. In trying to return it I'm getting no help at all from Walmart or HealthyBenefits program. This program is terrible. They charge sometimes 3x the price at Walmart store. Customer service doesn't know how I can return this.
