I NORMALLY USE FISH OIL DAILY (2). BUT I ALWAYS WANTED TO TRY KRILL OIL I COULD AFFORD. WELL, I FOUND IT AND IT'S AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED. I WILL BE USING KRILL OIL FROM NOW OWN. IT DID NOT TAKE LONG FOR ME TO NOTICE A DIFFERENCE. I JUST FELT BETTER. I WILL NOT TRY TO EXPLAIN THAT, IT JUST WAS BETTER. I AM 74 YEARS OLD AND THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE TO ME. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU GIVE IT A TRY, IF YOUR DOCTOR AGREES. I DONOT RECOMMEND YOU TRY OR CHANGE ANY MEDICATION WITHOUT FIRST CHECKING WITH YOUR DOCTOR. EVEN OVER THE COUNTER.

I picked this product because I had heard it was a great vitamin for your health. I watch a lot of health programs and this was one of the #1 products for your health. I picked it because of heart health mostly and It had a Vanilla smell which took me by surprise. It had no fish smell at all and I was thankful for that. This is is the first time I have tried this and I have not had it very long and I am hoping that my Doctor visit next month will show how it will be in my system. I take a lot of vitamins and I have to be careful how much mg's I take. I have a lot of people I know who take it and had much success with this product.

I decided to try this Spring Valley 100% Pure Krill Oil for Heart Health Softgels, 1000 Mg, 30 Ct because I have outrageous cholesterol levels due to Psoriatic Arthritis and cannot tolerate any of the "statins". I have been taking omega-3 capsules in an attempt to lower it, but I hated the fishy taste I would get about thirty minutes after I took them, and the burps that seemed to go along with it. I eagerly opened these and took one to see if that happened, and it didn't, and it hasn't since then. I don't know if it will help my cholesterol levels as my Doctor wanted me to try these for at least a month before any blood work is done. I will confess, that I have a habit of tapering off and then not taking the Omega-3's I was taking before, because of that aftertaste.

Great substitute For fish oil. Looks the same but smells the same no fish at aftertaste very smooth going down even when you belch you smell no fishy smell like you do with fish oil I would say it is just as good as fish oil if not better I'd recommend us anybody who's taking fish oil on a daily supplement.

I like this Krill Oil which is 100% pure. No fishy taste or smell. Take one per day. Has 230 mg Omega-3. These soft gels are a bit more rigid than other soft gels I've taken and the size is quite large so it was more difficult to swallow but the benefits outweigh those drawbacks. (see pics for size) This brand claims that this is 3 times more pure than regular krill oil. I'm all about trying to stay heart healthy so I'm happy this Krill Oil doesn't have the fishy taste or smell.

I have been taking Fish Oil for many years,,, started taking it back several years ago when my knees first started going bad,,, since then I have had both replaced... I have wondered if the Fish Oil was doing my body well,,, how can we really know ??? I do believe it is time to move on to what i believe to be a better product !!!

The first thing to consider is product derived from crustaceans, if you are allergic do not consume If you take warfarin, avoid it or consult your doctor because it can make blood more liquid, so avoid it if you are going to have a surgical procedure. Good to know that it is 1000 mg since less than this is not effective. It is important to take into account that when buying it, see the date of elaboration if it is possible since it caresses easily, I advise you that if you are going to consume it is preferable to buy a bottle, it comes for 30 days, which is convenient. Keep in mind that you should be away from heat and light, I recommend saving it if you want in the refrigerator. A tip to remember if you refrigerate it when it enters the body will be activated in the stomach and you will not feel unpleasant odor coming out of your mouth. The softgel is big keep this factor in mind. After taking it for 15 days, at first week I felt weight in the mouth of the stomach,try to take with food is better. It is a very good supplement for health, but it is necessary to consult with your doctor to avoid interactions. I recommend reading a bit between the difference between krill oil and fish oil. There are several brands in the market, keep in mind the presentation, the quantity, the way of elaboration. This brand is good.

I like the Spring Valley brand and currently use several of their other products, and was happy to do a review on their Krill Oil 1,000mg Dietary Supplement. I am always very careful when trying new vitamins and supplements and try to do a thorough research on the product before purchase. The Spring Valley Krill Oil 1,000, Omega-3's fatty acids, DHA and EPA, are the healthy fats that are known to support Brain, Heart, Joint Inflammation, Arthritis and Eye Health. These Omega-3's are said to be absorbed by your body more easily than fish oils. I can attest to the fact, that I feel my inflammation and arthritis have felt a little better since taking the Krill Oil. At first glance, the pill seems a little large and I was afraid it would be hard to swallow. But I didn't experience any difficulty. Also, I have heard others complain of the “fish burps,” or “fish taste,” but I did not have any issues with either of these. The explanation is that Krill Oil comes from small crustaceans and not fatty fish. Due to the fact that I have taken many expensive vitamins and supplements with little to no result, I am always careful about about what I take. I am happy to say that The Spring Valley Krill Oil is a supplement I will continue using.

It takes 10 of these capsules to equal 2 of another brand I usually take. Also, it says they are small, but they are the same big size as the others. So, I'm taking 10 large pills instead of 2 large pills. Otherwise, they are as advertised and they do not cause a burpy aftertaste.

I have taken Krill Oil for years during the cold and flu season. I have always felt that it helped keep me healthy even when all of my students (and staff) around me were sick. Just as with my previous brand, I remained well throughout the entire never-ending winter. These pills are quite large. If you are not a pull person I wouldn't recommend this brand. You can not cut them because they are soft gels. Overall a good product, but I removed a couple of stars based on the size.
