Springfield Removable Seat Bracket makes it easy to move seats in your small fishing boat only thing is you have to have the 7" bracket $9.29 then everything is GREAT

they are still new so I can't give good review but they appear to be pretty handy moving my boat seats around we will see in another season how they hold up.

Very nice, simple way to easily remove your seats for lots of reasons, rain, sun (like here in San Diego), etc. Bear in mind it's NOT for the bottom of pedestal mounted seats. Use only directly on the seat bottom.

I ordered 2 of these along with 2 Springfield 7x7" swivel with 2 wise high back fishing seats and you can remove and install the seat with just one push of the finger this is the best invention EVER I love these!!!! I will be buying more in the near future!!!

Pretty straight forward. Just attach it to the bottom of your seat with 4 screws and then slide the whole thing onto your base and you're good to go. Very easy. Works great. I'd recommend it to anyone.

This is one of those items you look at and remark, "AHA! Why didn' I think of that?" Ingenious device that solves a problem all boat seats present--How can I remove this boat seat when I want it temporarily off the aluminum built-in seat?

This will only work with a Springfield or like designed swivel. (And should be noted as such in the description) I do not recommend altering it to fit other swivels as you will lose the proper fit and support between the quick release and the swivel. I returned it because it would not work with my Shoreland swivel.

Good product, but it will only work with Springfield swivels. Will NOT work with any other swivel.

This seat bracket does not allow the 7 inch seat swivel to slide in without modification. I had to bevel the inside edge with a file to get the swivel to slide in properly. The problem is the ball bearing seat on the 7 inch seat swivel, it hits the edge inside the Removable Seat Bracket.

I have two of these brackets made by a differant company they both work perfectly. I needed one more and decided to give one of these a try. It looked like a decent design when I received it, but my seat base would slide only half way in and stop... tried two seats neither one would work. Wished it would have worked!
