SpyBot T.R.I.P.

If I had to complain about something is the inability to properly move over carpet surfaces even think ones

He also loves the fact that he knows exactly when his sisters are trying to go into his room and now he has this they can't deny it. Definitely a fun little gadget

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a family we have had hours of fun with our T.R.I.P spybot, all of my children, ranging in ages 5 - 12 absolutely love it! Quite often when I'm about to walk into a room they would have placed the funky little spybot in my path just so they can see me jump and react. They have had so much fun thinking up of creative and secretive places to hide him. If you're not sure how it works then let me explain, simply put in 3AAA batteries, place the spybot on the floor, we use the floor as it chases you down, and then wait for your victim or sneaky intruder to approach. Once someone crosses its invisible motion sensor beam the spybot will let out a wail, start flashing and spins and chases after you. For quality and durability we can't fault this little guy, he's withstood 3 children and their friends, the batteries last a good amount of time and are easy to replace. As for value, we found the spybot to be wonderfully priced, especially as the quality is brilliant, and we feel it would make the perfect gift for any adventure fun seeking child!

He has so much fin hiding it in various places around the house making us all - including our dog - jump out of our skin every time we trip the laser! You can station him anywhere and he stands guard quietly until an intruder crosses his path. When his motion sensor beam is tripped, it sets off a siren and flashing lights that will make anyone jump. If placed on a wooden floor he can even chase down the person who sets off the sensor, doesn't work too good on deep carpets though. A great fun robot for children of any age.

It is small but does what it is supposed to, namely spy's on people if they cross its path! My boy enjoys it so I would recommend it. The only thing is that it doesn't really move across carpet too well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my goodness this is such a fun toy. My little boy couldn't wait to rip it open and have a look at it. He loves that he can tell when an intruder is entering his room now and had so much fun exploring what it could do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 11 year old had plenty of fun playing with the T.R.I.P spybot. He sets it up in his room ready to catch any intruder or as a warning for him to get off his game. It was simple to set up and uses motion sensors to catch intruders who dare cross its path, letting out a wail to alert while flashing lights and chasing you down. It works better on wooden floors and not so great on carpeted floors as it's movement. Is restricted. Overall good fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having given this to my 5yo to play with, he seems to enjoy it. He places the robot around the house to set trip beans for mum and dad to set the robot alarm off. Having read the instructions I was expecting the robot to "chase down" the intruder but all it does is make an alarm sound and sometimes drives into a wall or other times it just goes around in circles. There's not a lot else to it. It's not what I was expecting especially after reading the text on the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very misleading product. It is advertised as a spy bot so kids wanting it already assume it would do spy stuff but it really doesn't. All it does it make a loud noise and walk up and down so it's not really a spy.
