Very impressed with the quality of cam and pics from this product. Easy set up and pics get relayed as programmed. Always wondered about these cams, had a friend from Germany who does guide hunts and has used these cams for years. He convinced me to try them and dofsr I am impressed
A friend gave me 2 Flex cameras after he "upgraded." These are perfect for my 20 acres that I hunt. I put 1 by the water way and catch plenty of deer heading for a drink, and I put 1 by the main entrance to the food plot. They send me good quality photos that are fun to review. In the app I have them set up to send me the photos right before breakfast so that I can eat breakfast and review the nights photos each morning. It gives me something to look forward to each morning.
I now have five cameras. The communication between camera and phone is great. Instead of going to the field to view images, just take a look at the spypoint app on your phone. WI have several other cameras and these are far the best. Clear pictures day and night. Would highly recommend.
Love my spypoint cameras, only thing they haven't done for me is lure the deer in. Also function as should, great pics always and the membership deal is a great economic feature for multiple cameras. My one micro was shot but someone with an arrow. Straight through the solar charging panel. Brought it home manually charged it and it's still taking pics.
I haven't had it long enough to rate it with confidence. The setup of the camera isn't the easiest, but I think I ultimately was successful. The price was good, and I think quite comparable with Amazon, and I'd rather shop at Walmart than send money to the behemoth Amazon. Not that Walmart's a small player, but I have larger issues with Amazon, FWIW.
Works good, easy to set up, takes good pictures. Energizer batteries only last 2 weeks if you have pictures sent instantly. About 3 weeks when sent 4 times a day. Also when you buy a plan with set amount of photos know that if you select 8 time per day it will take 8 pictures a day and send them to you which eats picture count and battery life for no reason. Still a good camera, don't like all the extra pictures and short battery life. I will try lithium Batteries next.
I was replaing an older trail cam. These Spypoints are far better quality photos and super sensitive. Night pictures are better than previous versions. Just a warning, the initial setup will drain a lot of batteries. Do the setup and updates at home then replace it with new batteries when you set it out. Also turn down the sensitivity.
Initially had battery low and Update needed messages, unit updated itself Via cell signal, then battery and signal strength showed 100%. But cannot get the "test" picture to transmit. After some research it looks like these units are plagued with issues. and I see videos online with LEDs lighting up that mine does not do. will be returning. Ghosted by customer service..... cannot recommend the Flex.
Flex is trash, horrible battery life. ive put 3 sets of batteries in the flex to One set in the Micro, picture quality sent to cell phone is no better than the micro, takes pictures of nothing all day long even with sensitivity set at its lowest. cell photos are no where near high quality and dont waste your money on purchasing HD photos because they arent any better, havent looked at sd card photo quality yet. it may be a better camera with a lith 10 pack or solar panel but it drained within 7 days taking less pics and syncing leas than my spypoint micro and flex wont sync anymore due to low battery. my Link Micro Lte is cheaper , same picture quality, 10x better battery life and is going on 4 weeks on same set/brand of AA batteries i put in both cameras. micro still has over 40% battery.
Brand new out of the box, put fresh batteries in, and the camera wouldn't power on. Returned to local store. I'm moving on from SPYPOINT. I've had nothing but issues with several models over the last couple years. While their customer service is good, and I've sent several cameras in for warranty, they have always sent me new replacements. However their cameras in my opinion aren't the most reliable.
