The Squishmallows is well made with plush fabric and well sewn. It is lightly stuffed with filling only in the front, none in the back. The real, natural lavender-scented grape seeds heating pad should only be heated up in a microwave for 60-70 seconds maximum. Requires a microwave. Insert must not be warmed by any other means; the polyester lining will melt and burn. The first time I heated it up I used the maximum recommended heat time of 90 seconds in a microwave. The grape seeds overheated and burned a bit, staining the insert brown in spots. The first 3-5x the insert was heated, the natural lavender scent was strong and encouraged deep sleep well. Over time, the seeds have cooked, and the lavender no longer smells like lavender. It no longer helps facilitate sleep. But, imo, the scent is still pleasant. My mom hates the smell of lavender but loves the smell of this product. She thinks the scent is light and reminiscent of cookies. I have had mine for over nine months. It does not help with menstrual cramps as well as I had hoped. It does not get hot enough or retain heat for as long as is necessary to provide adequate relief for intense pain. It does provide relief for minor pain. Retains decent heat for 10-15 minutes. After that, it is barely warm, but can still be helpful for minor cramps. I wish replacement inserts could be purchased separately without needing to wastefully purchase a brand new set. I placed an order for two more this morning when I noticed Walmart selling it for 19.98 USD, excluding sales tax. When I bought it last May it was over $24, including tax. Purchased another for myself and one for my mom. The gift for my mom is intended to be used as a soft, cuddly heat pad for whenever she's a bit chilly. I'm excited to give it to her. It is flat enough to zip well into fitted vests. Hopefully it will replace her toxic-smelling rubber water bottle. Thank you for lowering the price, Walmart. Keeping prices low helps make products more accessible. Please consider offering other styles from the Squishmallows line. Second purchase. Three in total. One to be gifted. Highly recommended. Would buy again.

Smells absolutely awful. Not lavender at all. The smell makes me not want to use it. Cute little Squishmallow though. I'll just use a different microwavable heat pad inside the cover.

I like that that the heating pad use natural seeds.Unfortunately, my child didn't like the smell of the seeds in the heating pad.

At first when I got my Squishmallows heating pad I made sure to go over the directions carefully. However the fifth time I went to heat it up despite following the steps right (I hadn't used it in over four days) the heating insert caught fire and now is ruined so all I'm left with is a Squishmallow skin. Don't get me wrong, when I used it, this thing is phenomenal, however for it to be ruined after only five uses just doesn't fit the price paid for.

I didn't realize this was a scented product until i googled why it smelled so awful. Apparently it's supposed to have a lavender smell but it smells nothing like that and actually gives me a headache. The heat pad works fine but the smell is very off putting.
