The SS United States model (plus convenient stand) is an accurate, detailed, and well-crafted item worthy of honoring and commemorating the great ship it is a replica of. It is the perfect size for display in any room or office, eye-catching without being unwieldy. I am a long-time “shippie” and will tell my fellow fans that this item will fit right into their memorabilia collections.

A couple days after ordering the item, I received an email that it had been delivered, however, the item was not on my porch. I knew no one had taken it and knew it was a delivery issue. I contacted Customer Service and was told that sometimes items are marked as delivered even when it hasn't actually been delivered. Why?…I don't know. I was told to give it 2/3 days and if I still hadn't received my item I could call back. After 3 days I contacted Customer Service again (the representative was awesome) she explained that the item had been delivered to the wrong address. She assured me that the item would be shipped out again and it would be free of charge. About 4/5 days after the second call to Customer Service, I received the item. Unfortunately it came damaged. It was a Christmas gift for my kid and I really wanted to surprise him with it. I ended up purchasing Krazy glue and with a steady hand, time and patience I was able to glue the damaged pieces and I do mean pieces. Looks pretty good and my kid really doesn't play attention to detail, so hopefully he will not notice.
