SSB CB Radio

Good radio right out of the box. It works well and is on frequency for SSB use. This CB becomes very unique with the purchase of the wireless microphone option also made by Uniden (BC906W). Wireless mic works well 300 ft. from the CB. THATS RIGHT 100 METER RANGE. The CB has duel clarifer for coarse and fine adjustment but only works on receive Transmit for SSB is factory set. YOU HOPE

I haven't used a cb radio in over 20 years but I suddenly got the urge to get one. I wanted one that looks more modern to go with my new truck. I've very happy with this cb radio although I'm no expert on them. It matches well with the modern vehicles and I enjoy the multicolor options. It performs well. If you're into modding these cb radios I'm not sure what you can or can't do with these. Others have complained about the "beep" being to loud but I don't think it's loud, then again I have mine mounted into the dash so maybe that has something to do with it. I have not had a chance to test the range but it seems to do well and it comes across loud and clear. If you're looking for good preformance out of the box and more of a modern look this cb radio is for you. I'd recommend this to my friends and family.

Paired with a Wilson Antenna, received and transmitted good to a range of five miles in AM mode. I like the features of the radio because they are not overly complex, while still providing a lot of options. The display is not super bright in the daylight, but gets the job done. The inside looks like a motherboard of computer, rather than a rats nest of wires by similar competitors. Looks and performs great, at reasonable price point for a SSB Radio. Overall a solid radio, with well thought out engineering.

Great price can't be beaten anywhere else, truck stops try to sell it at the same price!! But wait for the catch? You have to mail in a rebate after paying $180 out of pocket, who got time for that.

It's working fine, I set it up as a base station, love the CB channel scanning function. But as said in other reviews the plastic face scratches very easily and no matter what color ( does different colors) you choose for the face read out in daylight it's very hard to read.

This was my first purchase from JET. I was reluctant because their price was much better then all their competitors. But, I took a chance as i had never heard of JET before. As it turned out the merchandise, a CB transceiver was new in a never opened before box. The shipping was fast and the packing done well. I could not be more pleased with my purchase and will buy from JET again without hesitation. The transceiver is a bargain with a very modern design. It;s a SSB CB radio using surface mount parts allowing it to be packaged in a very small case. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

transmits ok and recieves ok, my radio came with a mal functioning receive and transmit function on the meter, shows full scale always. Everything else works ok, factory advised me to return the unit.

All of the sideband channels had a squeal to them. Also when I tried to talk to people they said it was squealing and screeching on the air too.
