Both Red Currant %26 Black Currant preserves/jams are hard to find even at open-air markets where you can find homemade preserves like Pepper Jam etc...This brand has always been expensive due to being imported from France %26 sweetened with concentrated fruit juice, no sugar or corn syrups. I have been spreading this with toasted, buttered sesame bagels, and it pair well with Dave's Killer Bread Organic Non-GMO Wild Berry Bagels. I'm not kidding when I tell you that I literally crave this. I'm unsure if I require a support group, or if that's only for people with eating all foods in excess. I bought 3 more bottles %26 I've lost all confidence that those will last very long at all.
I love black currants but it is very hard to find. This brand provides great quality ingredients and doesn't use sugar but prefers fruit juices to sweeten the spread, which is a healthier alternative in my opinion. It has the right consistency and I love eating on top of toast or in my oatmeal.
I love St. Dalfour products because they are loaded with fruit taste, not overly sweet, no added sucrose or corn syrup, no crazy chemicals. Just fruit, fruit juices, pectin. I also love how they come in so many different flavors. This one has nice whole currents in it.
This actually tastes like black currants. We enjoy this in the morning on oatmeal or a bagel. Nice flavor, not too sweet or sugar-y. We will try this on a sugar cookie recipe for the holidays. Great quality and nice price to try it
I love those spreads. They don't have sugars. I buy them for years, I just didn't know that IHerb have them. From now I will be buying them from your company. My favorite is Black Currant, which is almost impossible to get somewhere else.
I love this brand of fruit spread. I like that it's all fruit and no added sugar. It's great on toast or PBJs. I like that it's in glass but it does take a long knife or small spatula to get everything from the bottom.
St. Dalfour's black currant spread is a great product. Black currants are common in Europe, but not so in the U.S. We are missing out on a delicious berry. It is a fruit spread not a jam or jelly, so you get the true fruit taste. I highly recommend this!
The best taste, quality, and ingredients! Great for kids, and for people Who are really looking for a healthy diet. I would recommend it 10 Out of 10 for cooking, breakfast, and more. Clean ingredients are the best benefit! Use it every day! The package is cute! The size isn't huge but just right.
I was disappointed because I ordered black currant and black cherry was sent. Additionally, one of the jars had shattered in shipping and the other's seal was broken. I hesitate to try ordering this product again, but I really liked the black currant I have received in the past.
This was whole fruit in liquid. I adore Black current jam. I think I would have like this more if the currents were mashed up more. We grow currents here in Maine.
