The texture , taste and everything about it was perfect. It would be great on waffles, pancakes, toast and peanut butter sandwiches . It is a bit pricey. If I had a family I would need to have a lot more money and order three or more jars at a time. Nevertheless, it was delicious. I will bye it again.
Sweet Black Raspberries with no seeds. I made fresh bread and used the St. Dalfour Black Rasberry fruit spread and Organic Santa Cruz Peanut Butter for my first try of this. Because there's no pectin the berries kept rolling off the toast! Funny but absolutely delicious. I love the jar design and artwork too( important to me because I am a painter/ drawer; artist!). Good price. I wish there was a larger size!
Homemade taste of black raspberries. St. Dalfour has the best quality ingredients. An outstanding recipe of nature's finest. I use it in yogurt, on toast, even on pancakes and waffles !!
The best-tasting fruit spread I've found. Delicious, and it's made without sugar. I can have it every day if I want--without it causing a blood sugar crash. Great stuff!
My favorite fruit spread with my favorite fruit. I have been eating this for years. Black raspberry is sweeter than blackberries which to me can sometimes be bitter. I wish there were more black raspberry products available. I have had other St Dalfour products which I have also loved. I love it with walnut butter on sprouted whole grain toast. Also great on ice cream.
If you like black raspberry, you know that stores don't usually carry it. Even a gourmet grocer usually has a brand that has other additives. Not this one. The flavor is what you expect of sweet berries and boy is it delicious on buttered biscuits. You gotta try it and see if you agree. Delicious.
This spread is true to the description of non-GMO, no added sugars, gluten free, no preservatives, quality, and sweetened with fruit juice only. Many jellies listed as made in Europe are actually made specifically for the U.S market, with all the added sugars. This is true to French making. Natural and no harmful ingredients.
I love St. Dalfour products because they are loaded with fruit taste, not overly sweet, no added sucrose or corn syrup, no crazy chemicals. Just fruit, fruit juices, pectin. I also love how they come in so many different flavors. This one has goes great on bread with peanut butter. But somehow by itself, is just a 4/5 stars.
If I could ignore the millions of seeds in this single package, I might enjoy the particular recipe that this company used to create their Black Raspberry Fruit Spread. Unfortunately, they left ALL of the seeds they could find (and then some!) in the jar. The flavor is good but the texture is awful.
got broken at the bottom.
