Great product! Fun for kids!

Anonymous March 25, 2026

Fun product. Works really well. The pictures below were taken by day I would recommend putting in half of a teaspoon even though it recommends 1-2. The bottom rack I used one full scoop and it looks overcrowded. I’m still growing so far! The watering system is very interesting because it holds some water within the design and you have to empty the bottom from the excess water, of course. Some seeds may fall through into the bottom tray, but for me they are growing! Really nice and organized and a nice size!

Microgreens Growing Kit

Shopper1 March 24, 2026

This kit offers incredible value. It’s an inexpensive way to have a "revolving door" of fresh, micro-organic greens right in the kitchen. It’s perfect for health-conscious individuals or as a fun, educational project for kids. I started micro-mung bean greens. No soil is needed, but your own seeds are needed because there are no seeds provided in the mirco-green growing kit. There are labeling stickers that have labeling lines for the date micro-greens are started and the type of seed in each layer of the trays. The Highlights: -User-Friendly Design: One of the best features is the numbered trays, which help you keep track of your planting rotation. It also includes labels and a black "shading" bag to provide the darkness many seeds need during the initial germination phase. That same bag can be used for storage when the kit is not in use. It took literally less than a minute to set up on my counter. -Vertical Efficiency: The 4-tier stackable system is a huge space-saver. You can grow sprouts (like alfalfa, mung beans, and wheatgrass) simultaneously in a very small countertop footprint. I will put it in a corner of my kitchen that is not disturbed but easy to get to and see. -Low Maintenance: Since it is soil-free, you don't have to worry about dirt in your kitchen. The drainage system is designed to prevent overwatering, but the system will keep the seeds moist because the bottom is a reservoir where the water sits and evaporates up to the seeds. -Transparency: The clear shells allow you to watch the roots and sprouts develop, which is both satisfying and helpful for knowing exactly when to harvest (usually within 5–7 days). Considerations -Material: It is made of BPA-free plastic. Its going to be easy to clean with mild dish soap and warm water.

Best growing method!

Andee March 29, 2026

This is easiest growing method! I've used mason jars with grow lids, growing trays, paper towels, etc. This is so easy to water the top and it filters down all the levels and pools in the bottom catcher. No need to rinse and drain because it does it all.

I like that the trays have numbers to help you stack them properly. It also came with labels to write the date and what content is in the tray. I can't wait to get started. It also came with a black bag to have the darkness that it need to germinate the seeds.

Sprouter

Alicia March 27, 2026

Great stackable. Fits on any kitchen counter top. Direct sunlight not needed. Easy to set up and just watch. After 4-5 days I see sprouts. I bought this item to grow broccoli sprouts to add to my morning smoothie.

Good for sprouts and microgreens.

sally March 17, 2026

The product looks just exactly like the photos and description is accurate. I was planning on using this to grow lentils, brown rice, and popcorn seeds because I know how to buy those at my local grocery store.

Worked

Sheryl April 7, 2026

Tried to sprout some barley, but it molded. I think the grain might have been too old. So I tried to sprout some lentils and it worked! I have not yet tried other sprouts yet but I am sure it would be fine. I'm not sure about the tiered design as you can't just use one tray at a time. I think it would be better to have the trays all one size but made to stack together so you could use just one or two trays as needed, adding more if you wanted too.

not recommended

Crystal March 12, 2026

the trays sit together, but do not latch together. Any bump they fall over. the water goes through after awhile but the seeds in the middle part of each tray stay dry as the seeds in the outside parts of the trays get wet

Use jars %26 see post for how:

Marika October 8, 2025

Is smaller on lowerer baskets %26 gets bigger as they are stacked. Is put opposite in box and is great idea shipping wise. But to use then makes this a wet tipping mess and when I need to shuffle the baskets around for air, light, and use there is NO way at all to facilitate that! I need 2 more hands to hold these while I rinse the baskets to keep sprouts from rotting and spoiling! Stick to the jars %26 if you cant find the mesh for the tops to drain just use a cheese clothe layered 4 times with weave in various directions. I tripped mine down like big quilt squares! They also have fine weave mesh in the sewing %26 craft department %26 thats good too!

the reason I am not recommending this item is because it came with all the items you see in the bottom front missing all that was received was the kit itself without any additional pods and everything else shown! a huge disappointment! 😥😥😥
