Staedtler, STD52650BK4, Mars Plastic Eraser, 4 / Pack, White

I sell antique postcards and other vintage paper ephemera, and often these articles are written on with pencil regarding information at the time of original use, or pricing by a subsequent reseller. Because the paper is frequently very fragile and has "absorbed" some of the graphite marking, it is very difficult to remove it for my own resale. I pride myself on the pristine, high quality of the postcards and memorabilia I sell, so finding the Staedtler Mars Plastic Eraser after a bit of research recently was fantastic! Pencil markings and writing are easily removed with little effort, and without damaging the paper - the product far surpasses the other professional erasers I have tried. Highly recommended!!

As someone who has used Staedtler erasers in the past, I can tell you that the quality is still just as great as they were back then. They clean up pencil marks up so incredibly well. I never have to worry about graphite smudges. Even heavy-handed graphite marks disappear with ease. It feels nice in the hands, and I like how the eraser bits clump together, making it easier to clean up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely great! I hate an erasure that leaves a tiny behind or just smears the pencil mark. This erases everything! I'm a teacher, so if I make mistakes while writing something down (either lesson planning or rain notes in my students), I'd like to make sure everything is clearly visible. Unlike another white eraser, this has a bit of a rough texture, which I think helps getting in the groves of your pencil marks. I'd share this with my students but would make sure to return them to me because it's that good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are good quality erasers. They are soft and smooth. They erase cleanly and don't crumble. They also don't tear or deface the paper. As a bonus they are individually wrapped in the pack, so you don't have to worry about them drying out.

While using it, my child was able to erase with little effort. It doesn't feel heavy or bulky. I appreciate that it's latex free and leaves minimal residue.
