Perfect for short people!!

softmachine March 16, 2013

if you are currently struggling to find equipment that accommodates your short stature... Buy this immediately. I am exactly five feet tall and 101 pounds. You name it, I've tried it... But NOTHING was even remotely adjustable enough to accommodate me. Not only is this equipment comfortable, but at ZERO resistance it is still effective and still a challenge to work out with. (And there is a lot of resistance to go around with this machine! I will be re-adjusting it weekly for the next year, I am sure.) On the contrary, my husband is 6 foot 1 and about 240 pounds and this machine looks like a toy beneath him! It is not intended for people 250 or over, and it looks plain uncomfortable for my husband's height. I'd start backing off this idea at 6 feet for sure. The only reason that I am not giving it an even higher mark is simply because the gauge only counts steps, clocks time or counts calories, but not all three at once. Be aware that after you step off the machine... Your stat resets to zero! But the price is amazing, the work out is as hard as you choose to make it and the assembly is a piece of cake!

Nice machine & Good price

just2busy2day February 2, 2013

This stepper is a good price and a well made piece of home gym equipment. Had it shipped to my home. Was delivered quickly. Easy to put together. Very little assembly required. I don't fold it up but it doesn't take up very much room. Will give you a nice workout.

Budget Teeter

Trump2024 January 15, 2023

Stamina Easy Step and the Teeter were the 2 machines I considered. The teeter had amazing reviews, but was triple the price. The Stamina is about 50 pounds lighter and has a smaller footprint which makes it easier to live with on a daily basis. The stamina uses magnetic resistance like the Teeter, so its motion is silky smooth and silent. I prefer the handle grip shape on the Stamina over the Teeters. I am 6 feet tall and 200 pounds and the Stamina feels rock solid. The comfortable seat can be adjusted up/down and forward/backward to fine tune your personal fit. I'm at both the 2nd highest setting on both the seat height and backward setting, so it definitely could accommodate someone up to 6'4”. The step thru height of the Stamina is lower than the Teeter, making it easier to get on and off. The Stamina resistance knob is located right in front of you and is large making it easier to read and adjust. The Teeter's resistance knob is tiny and located under the seat making it more difficult to adjust. The Stamina Easy step gives a fun low impact workout. I look forward to getting on it daily. The only improvement I would like to see is longer foot pedals like the Teeter has, so it could fit your whole foot.

Great value! Very happy with my purchase.

Rubylicios November 7, 2012

For a moderately priced stepper I find it is well made, compact and works very well. I guess the fact that you can fold it and store it is a bonus although I leave mine up so I can hop on it at any time. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to a friend. In fact, I bought mine on a friend's recommendation.

Good enough

jeanette February 27, 2026

This item was hard to put together... had to pay our handyman and would have been cheaper to use the walmart assembly. Once together is comfortable to use... we're seniors and find the tension doesn't seem to work that well... but for us it's sufficient, and worth the very reasonable price vs others I've priced. Also its pretty easy to roll/move on two front embedded wheels in crossbar by lifting the rear. It slso doesn't take that much floor space which was also a draw to try this one. We're satisfied and hope it keeps working.

It is a great workout but the seat is as hard as a rock. A gel seat would be much better. My 13 year old on a diet loves it. My old bones is trying to like exercising

First thing I noticed was the weight of this piece of equipment. It seems to be well built and sturdy. If you are use to a expensive gym type stepper you will realize this stepper has some limits and rightfully so. You will have to learn to use it. If you are not use to a stepper you may have to build your leg strength endurance over a period. Within its limits, I have found it give a very good workout. I also like the way you can adjust the resistance. You can go from a fast pace with little resistance to a much slower pace with high resistance and any point in between . Not sure which one I like right now. I have read other reviews on this stepper and agree with some that the display is pretty useless, at lest for me. It is small and not illuminated. Mine quit working shortly after I started using it. This is not important to me since the only count I am really interested is in the time and I have a great big digital clock for this. I call customer service and spoke with an actual person. They will send me another. So a plus at this point for customer service. Very easy to put together. I would strongly recommended you use the manuals advice of using liquid soap to slide the handle bar padding on. This was probably the hardest part of assembly. I do believe it would be easy to get replacement parts when it does need some repair. Do not under estimate the importance of being able to getting replacement. Also think it would be easy to fix except maybe for the display thing. In summary, I find it a good piece of equipment for what it is. Would recommend at this point.

Can't use it.

DUSTYBALL April 7, 2014

I ordered this to try & build up the muscles in my legs. Evidently my legs are so week I can't even push on the steppers. My Husband & a friend of his, both in good shape, get a lot of exercise, tried it & it was hard for them too, even on the lowest setting. YOU NEED SOME STRONG LEGS TO US THIS THING!!!!!! So we returned it.

Not for heavy people

stepperuser March 30, 2014

The Good: Easy to assemble. Low price. The Bad: I am over 220 lbs and even with highest resistance, the steps drop as soon as I am on them. It makes squeaking sounds as I use the machine. Does not feel like stepping on steps. It is expected for a stepper that is less than 100 dollars but the squeaking sound gets pretty annoying. Will return for a different product.
