Sam's club had the best price for this rower and it arrived quickly with all parts. I put it together myself in about an hour, but some of that time was spent figuring out how a 70-year old woman could hold it while screwing in the bolts. It would be good to have another person available, but I managed. The directions were reasonably clear with a little thought. So far, I love the machine. It rows beautifully! It is very quiet too. I haven't yet used the heart monitor but will soon. The hardest part is getting on and off the machine, since the seat slips and I gave creaky knees. I have had no problem with the Velcro straps on the foot plates, except that they have to be loosened most of the way to remove your foot. So far, I really like this rower.
My wife and I have been using this rower on a daily basis for over 6 months. Love it ! Smooth and quiet. It was easy to assemble and flipping up the seat and bar after use is easy for storage. The computer is straight forward and does everything that we need. Had some minor transport issues which the friendly staff quickly resolved. GREAT PRODUCT and CUSTOMER SERVICE ! Highly recommended.
I've only been using this for four weeks. The product is sturdy and well constructed. The nylon strap looks and feels like it will provide lasting use. The handle is easy to grip and comfortable in the hands. The seat is comfortable and I've had no issues with it. I'm starting out with 30 minute sessions on low level to work on my technique and form and very much like the steady resistance. For older first time users on a rowing machine (I'm 66), if you haven't already been exercising regularly this will give you a good initial workout at level 1. If you're like myself and do regularly exercise but haven't used a rowing machine, once you feel comfortable with proper technique and form you'll be ready to push upwards and this machine has very good resistance settings and built-in programs that will challenge you. Also allows for custom programming. The digital screen is easy to read and simple operations. I'm very satisfied with this product and highly recommend it!
This is our second rower. After 20 years, we finally wore the first one out. We are looking forward to putting our new one to good use.
Using it for 2 month.Works excellent. No complaints.
Great and easy to assemble. Using after a knee replacement, helping with my rehab!!
Great piece of equipment that we use at least a hour a day that I use at the highest setting. My wife does 30 minutes a day at the medium setting and it definitely does the job. One negative is the seat that gets very uncomfortable after about 20-30 minutes of use and would like to explore getting another seat for the rower from the company if they offer one.
The wife and I are so far pretty happy with this Rower. It is a very effective exercise machine for cardiovascular and conditioning. However it is unfortunate that it does not have its own power source so you have to place it somewhere close to a electrical outlet an there is always the chance that during a power surge the electrical adapter will get fried!! Maybe in future models!!
Purchased this rower because of it's magnetic resistance (quieter) and upper weight limit. I'm 6' 3" and 265 lbs, so I wanted to know I was getting a machine w/ a sufficient weight limit. Generally, I use the Heart Rate program and have been mostly happy with the performance of the HR monitor. I"ve not bothered with maximum resistance, since my emphasis is on low-impact Cardio, and I'm still out of shape enough, that I can get to 85% of max heart rate and stay there w/o tons of resistance. My biggest complaint is the seat noise and lack of smoothness in it's travel. It feels like the bearings are "lumpy" and is squeaky with each stroke.
The rower arrived in 2 days. It was easy to put together. I like the variety of programs it has and that you can increase the resistance easily on each program. The only issue so far is that the heart monitor only works intermittently. So it causes me more frustration to use it than not . I find that it's very comfortable and very compact . I think for the money it's pretty high quality .
