Stamina Elite Wave Water Rowing Machine 1450

I've been using the Stamina water rowing machine for 2 weeks now. It is awesome. This is a great total body workout. It was very easy to assemble and the small tools were provided. I have arthritis and when I have problems I get back on this machine and work it out. Depending how I row I can have a cardio workout or muscle strengthening workout. I am so happy I bought this wave water rowing machine.

I don't know about anyone else but since Covid hit my daily steps are in the hundreds. All this decreased activity has me feeling Out. Of. Shape! I cannot believe how much I love this thing. It's so beautiful. The sound of the water whooshing is so relaxing. I can't stop smiling since I've started using it. Our entire state was on fire and still all I could think about was getting home so I could do a session on the rower. The setup is ridiculously easy. I feel adequately challenged by the resistance levels provided. Typically with rowers I bottom out at the top resistance without feeling challenged. My legs have always been super strong even with my weight gain. This might also be because of poor rowing form. Thank god for free YouTube videos for beginner towers! Still I have the basin filled to level 8 of 9 and I feel like I might actually want to lower it while I perfect my form. The only area where I would like to see improvements is 1). The heart rate monitor that's included with the rower. I have an Apple Watch 5th gen that has a super accurate heart rate monitor so I wanted to compare the efficacy of the monitor to my watch. My Apple watch clocked my resting heart rate at high 80's and once I started moving it was in the 130 range. The heart monitor had my heart rate in the 70's even while rowing. So that was curious. Maybe I'll try it again, rule out user error. 2). I'd like to see an improved method of movement for when you want to roll the machine out of the way. It's still a bit cumbersome even with the slider bar placed in an upright position. 3). The hand pump to fill the basin is gaaaarbage. It also included a heavy duty looking tube attached to a funnel, which would have been great, had the funnel not arrive completely shattered. The plastic of the funnel is about as thick as 2 ply toilet paper. 3). The feet of the machine are so sharp, whole repositioning the machine onto my mat, I sliced my shoulder. So heads up. Maybe file those down unless you want your carpet snagged or your linoleum gouged. Honestly I was so in love with the machine it didn't matter that the heart rate monitor was so so, or that the funnel came completely destroyed. Or even that the hand pump siphon takes about a year to fill the basin. I'm obsessed. Such a perfect workout for Covid quarantine.

Many other water rowing machines are 4x the price but this works great and meets our needs! I love using it as an alternative to just walking on the treadmill!

Love the work out. The machine is solid. No problems. A good place to start is dark horse rowing on YouTube. Do you want the right technique before you let yourself go wide open.

I bought my husband the rowing machine for Christmas. He loves it. He says it is very smooth and a whole body workout.

Ordered for my son. He loves it! Only issue is the joint on the slide beam. Catches the sliding seat and makes a bump during the slide.

I brought this a month ago and couldn't wait to get it put together. First try and the water reservoir leaked, something was wrong with the gasket. I called customer service and they sent a new reservoir, with no instructions on how to install it, since it was already installed when I received it. After searching the internet and finding nothing, I gave up and sent it back.
