This is a full body workout! It's just what I needed during the pandemic. It arrived on time and was easily put together. I row on it while I watch tv. I'm 56 years old and I have worked up to 35 minutes in just a few weeks.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this rower. Compact, effective, and well made. I love the freedom of motion of the handles, which helps me avoid shoulder impingment issues. I love how compact it is, allowing me to take it on the road in my RV.
Great way to exercise with minimal impact on joints. Customer service is great. Had a misaligned roller on the hub causing the slide to bind. Stamina's customer service was quick to respond and were a pleasure to deal with getting my equipment back in order. Highly recommend the product and the folks that stand behind it.
This suits my needs and wallet perfectly. Took awhile to assemble as I'm inept. Customer Service responded promptly to my questions and, when I mentioned my monitor stopped working, sent me a new one immediately. Been using it for a month. At 66 I'm not a gym-goer and needed something that worked several muscle groups and stamina. It's sturdy yet easy to move. Highly recommend.
Very pleased with the machine...compact, space-saver ....good work-outs, with varying intensity a plus . The machine is easy to store upright when needed.
Works out a hard-to-get muscle group easier than other ways. Folds up and stands up for small footprint-very happy with purchase, both price and speed of delivery!
Wonderful!!! More than I expected. Love my rower!
The machine is easy to assemble, sturdy, and works pretty well. Relatively minor problems: (1) The screws attaching the meter to the body of the machine were missing from the package. Customer care promptly sent me a pair of screws, but it's irritating when you think you're done with assembly and discover missing parts. (2) The piston rod squeaked loudly with each stroke. Customer care replied quickly to my email and told me the type of oil to use. More important drawbacks are: - As the cylinder heats up over a longer workout (say 30+ minutes), the forward motion of the arms is shortened slightly; I had the same problem with a different brand of rower so I'm guessing it's just the way hydraulic rowers are. - The forward stop for the seat isn't quite far enough forward--it could use another 3 inches.
I truly appreciate the space saving design and the full motion handles. This machine has the potential to be a great little fitness product but I'm not extremely pleased with my purchase. First of all, the rower arrived and the counter is defective. I called customer support for a replacement and new parts are on backorder from China indefinitely (I've been waiting for 2 months). Secondly, I am a 6' man with high fitness level and this isn't quite enough machine for my needs. I've noticed that at resistance level 6 of 12, the piston heats up so much that it starts to seize and reduce the range motion after as little as 7 minutes. If you are looking for a rower for moderate intensity, long duration endurance workouts, this isn't the best option. I still use the rower on a regular basis, but instead of a full body, stand alone workout, it is more for warmup before the main workout. Will definitely spend a little more money when I decide to upgrade.
The rower itself is fine. The computer or meter that came with it did not work from the start. Wouldn't even turn on. I reached out to customer support and they were quick to respond that they would send replacement. It has been over a month and still nothing. I have reached out to customer support multiple times and they respond quickly that they are looking into it but that's as far as it goes. Very frustrating.
