The bench works fine. It has decent adjust-ability and is stable even on a carpet. Don't expect what you might find in a commercial gym but, hey, this is for a home setup.
I bought this in April, 2021 and love it. I took a chance and what a nice surprise. It is one of my favorite workout units and a nice addition to my home gym. I am a 69 yr. old female and I have had a history of intermittent hip/lower back alignment issues (esp. from too much sitting during the Covid pandemic!). However, once I workout and do 10-20 or more raises on this, I am good to go. My hips feel more stable. I will do some raises before my treadmill workout, then again after doing my weights, then a set at the end of my routine. Love this little thing. I am 5'4", 170 lbs. It is adjustable and I do use a small pillow for extra padding for my pelvic bone (the padding isn't bad, I just needed more). My husband is 6'4" and it is too small of a unit for him as he has long legs. My lower back, buttocks, and core are getting stronger by the day. It is imperative that you adjust the unit properly to fit your height. Make sure your pelvic bone rests at the very top of this unit so you can properly bend or hinge at your hip joint. Your legs should extend behind you and your toes should rest against the bottom tubing. I wear rubber sole tennis shoes for a good toe grip. At first I was afraid of tipping over! But it works great, it is solid, and a nice little unit that is lightweight and folds up too. I would not attempt this if you are super out of shape. Work your way up slowly with other exercise first. I walk a lot, do squats, stairs, lift weights, etc. I would not want to have my review to cause injury to someone who is not used to exercise. I have only done the front bend position so far, not the others yet. I just love it. Take good care!
Whoever designed this and made the manual deserves an A+ the manual was way easier to understand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is reasonably well made for the price. It works well for me, but it's too small for my 6' 2” husband. It's very easy to adjust and folds up easily for storage.
