Stamina Products Multi-Level Magnetic Resistance Compact Rowing Machine

We really like it, the meter wasn't in the box when I received it. I called the company and they got one sent out to me right away.

This is just what I needed to start doing something again. My motivation was missing but this is easy to use any break I get. It's very basic and that's all I was looking for. The instructions get the thing together and the necessary little tools are even included.

I've been using it for 3 weeks. It is quiet, which was one of the main requirements I had, it does have a very quiet beep at every stroke but barely noticable. It has a solid frame and everything works well. If I were to give advice to the manufacturer for product improvement it would be to reduce the width of the plastic housing and foot rests so that the feet are closer to the center line. Also get rid of that quiet beep. Why does this machine need to beep at all?

It appears to be working well after a week of use. It probably is not the best one out there, but the price is right. It is fairly easy to put together. The directions just point to the areas of equipment. I have yet to get the cup holder to fit correctly-minor detail. However, be careful when moving around. The heaviest end can clamp down on your hand! I put a heavy yoga mat under it and can slide it around easy.

Sturdy and exactly what I was looking for! This is good quality, and not flimsy or cheap. A perfect addition to my home gym!

I have a stamina upright bike with the same 8 setting magnetic resistance. On the bike it's pretty tough to do level 8, so I thought it would be the same with the rower. Unfortunately, even at level 8 there isn't much resistance. However, after 20-30 minutes of straight rowing at the highest level, you will definitely start to feel like you had an intense workout. Overall it's a great tool for general cardio and full body training, just don't expect this to get you body builder sized legs or back.

I gave it 3-stars because there is a dent on the seat rail. Assembly was frustrating. The cup holder and cover kept coming off and was hard to put in. I'm a petite woman and the illustrations on the manual are not detailed. It would have been easier if the manufacturer included the screws and bolts in the illustration. When it arrived, the box was all messed up. On top of that, the meter device was poorly designed. It's useless so I have to use my cell phone timer instead. As for function, it does its job.

It took me a while to put it together but it wasn't too difficult. However, it arrived with a broken part and was pretty scuffed up. It does what I need it to do but I wish there was a bit higher resistance. But for the price it's a good buy!

The package came in roughed up and the bar where the seat glides has a big dent. Does not effect performance of machine but really lazy delivery of a damaged item.

This came with a lot of dents, scratches and tiny pieces broken off. It was fairly easy to put together, takes up little space and is very basic. It makes virtually no noise and the chair glides smoothly. For me it's fine. My main issue is the display doesn't work. It turns on but never counts anything and just shuts off during the workout and turns on with the next pull, but that's it. It doesn't count.
