I have had a Stamina recumbent bike for at least 15 years and I loved it! I actually wore out the first one and was so pleased to find a very similar one at Walmart!!! I have back issues so this bike gives me a good workout without pain. Love it!!!
It was very easy to put together. My wife and I love it! It is very comfortable. We like it better than the huge pro model at our gym. We can either reverse the leg or arm pedals individually. For some reason, when reversing the arm direction it gets a bit tougher - not so on the pedals. Directions were very clear.
Very good for Rehaab and old age
Easy set-up. Easy to use.
I bought this for my 75 year old dad because he has osteoporosis & minor hernias, which make it difficult for him to exercise, yet exercise is so important to his health. At physical therapy, they put him on some $7,000 machine that does virtually the same motions as this awesome & affordable home version - a hand & foot pedaling motion with the ability to control the resistance for the hands & feet separately. Major bonus: this machine is really easy for him to get in & out of because of the low step over the foot pedals. He also loves how easy it is to adjust the distance, height & tension of the hand pedals while using the machine. It's an easy, fun & wonderful upper & lower body workout. Turns out, I LOVE it too! I'm in my late 30's & on bad weather days, when I can't go biking or jogging outside, I hop on Pop's bike & get in a great workout from the comfort of home. It has a really small footprint in our home & it's very sleek, streamlined & modern looking, so we don't bother to roll it away for storage very often (although that's pretty easy to do too). It took us about an hour to put together. One person could probably do it alone, but it was easier with an assistant. It comes with all the tools & parts you need with easy to follow instructions. We highly recommend this great machine.
Fit my Pilates reformer perfectly. I love the option to do the pull ups.
My husband had no trouble putting it together. \nTook him about an hour, I think, maybe less.\nI mostly bought it for my husband who needs to lose weight and stay active but has had back and neck surgery so needed something comfortable. He really likes it, it works very well. The only reason I didn't give all 5 stars is because I would've loved to use it too but I am 5'1 and my little legs don't reach the pedals unless I sit at the edge and the edge is uncomfortable on my bum.
Pleased with this purchase. It was easy to assemble(did it all myself in about an hour). It is quite comfortable to sit on. Like that the handles adjust as well back and forth. Only wish it had heart rate monitor but for the price as very pleased with it overall. Folds up nicely so as to take up too much floor space when not in use as well.
I bought this exercise bike as a replacement for a Stamina Model 15-0340 purchased 4-1/2 years ago. The new bike is adequate for my purposes, but has a couple of issues. First, although Walmart claimed that I would be getting a Model 15-0340, what I actually got was a 15-0340B. The difference is that the B model's meter has only one LCD display and must cycle through TIME, SPEED, DIST, CAL, RPM, and ODO, so you only get to see any one for 6 seconds every 36 seconds, The original 15-0340 (pictured on Walmart website) had three LCD displays, so I could get continuous display of SPEED and TIME while cycling through the other four readings. Since I like to try and hold a target speed vs. time, the 15-0340B model doesn't work as well for my workouts. My other gripe is that on the bike I received, the upright that holds the handlebar cranks and meter wouldn't lock in the most vertical (%231) position, so it leans over a bit more "in my face" in the %232 position.
Makes noise the arms Not good for short ppl Its uncomfortable to lean back on the back rest. Not able to built up a serious workout because the chair is so uncomfortable to start
