Standlee Hay Company Alfalfa Cubes, 40 lb

I have been struggling to keep weight on my senior thoroughbred despite tons of grain and more hay than she could finish. I started adding a couple scoops of soaked alfalfa cubes to her daily diet and within about a month and a half she gained more weight than she had all winter!

High quality cubes soaked in water are palatable, easy to feed, and provide the necessary protein, fiber, gastric support, and calories needed to assist my senior thoroughbred who is a hard keeper. Soaking them means he can chew them easily and the shorter stems make swallowing easier than long stem forage.

Love these cubes as they are great for senior horses when you need to wet them down. Only reason I have four stars is I wish it was a 50lb bag instead of 40lb. I have 6 horses and I go through at least three bags per feeding twice a day.
