I love how convenient and mess free these compressed bales are. I got these to supplement the hay that my boarding barn feeds and also use it if I'm traveling. The hay is high quality and my guy seems to like it. It's more expensive than normal bales so I wouldn't feed it exclusively but it's a great option if you need convenience.

I bought this for my adopted Arabian mare. Our hay isn't the best and this was to supplement that. Well she loves it! All other horses in barn get Standlee alfalfa pellets. But Belle gets the hay. I am so happy with it and she is too.

My horses love this!!! I was afraid if they would be picky about it as they usually are when I introduce something new, but they are devouring it!

Great amount of alfalfa for the price. Use it for chicken bedding, as is great fodder for them too.

purchased the compressed bail of alfalfa when my daughter was racing in las vegas, last year. was PERFECT for traveling south, the stops along the way, as well as while we were in vegas. kept the compressed bail outside the thoroughbred's stall & everyday noticed more & more of a mess around the compressed bail. i think the walker-by's were taking SAMPLES & leaving residual. must be good!

I brought two boxes of this to feed my Guinea pigs, both boxes had an insane amount of little grass particles that flies all over the place whenever I take it out of the box. The hay is such a bad cut to the point that it's basically all straw at this point. Will never buy again!
