I have an underweight and sick guinea pig. I've tried small pet and oxbow, but it's too brown for him. This is the only hay he will gobble up, and it's so green and fresh.
This is the only brand of hay we order. It's always fresh and high quality. And it arrives fast every time.
My rabbits love this hay. When I try other hay they won't eat it. It's great quality hay.
I recently bought the 25 pound box of hand selected timothy hay and my rabbits adore it. I have looked so long for a timothy that they will actually eat. So glad I found this!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Timothy loose forage is essential for my bunny, Hank's, balanced diet and healthy digestive system. I also feed him pellets and fresh fruits/veggies for the perfect combo. The Timothy loose forage has great value, giving you the best bang for your buck.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our little bun loved this! It is a great variety and has been great for his little area. The pieces were a good size and kept our guy busy. It's got a bunch of different textures and I always catch him munching away.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My chinchilla Ollie loves this timothy hay. Love that the bag says that its 100% natural. My chinchilla ate it all up as soon as he smelled it. It was so cute. It is recommended for various small animals including chinchillas. So thank you for this good sized bag of hay! My Ollie boy loves it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Influenster for my honest review. I absolutely love my pets, they are family to me. So when it comes to purchasing products; food, treats, bedding, etc., I am picky! This product passed the test.
I bought this timothy hay for the first time and in one day two different guinea pigs of mine have had pieces lodged in their eye! I know this can occur, but two different pigs, in one day? Also, I've had pigs for years and never had this happen.
Honestly, my bunnies love the taste of this product and if based on that alone it would get 5 stars. The problem is the quality of the hay has gone down the last 6 months or so. I used to get nice long pieces of hay for my bunnies but now I get 1/3 to 1/2 of the 20lb box where the pieces of hay are 1 to 2 inches long or ground down to dust. I never had this problem with the 25lb boxes with the black bag or without the bag. I know it happens from time to time, but it's becoming consistent now with box after box like this with so much waste. The pictures attached are two separate boxes where 1/3 of the box is ultra small or practically dusk, and that doesn't include what I've shaken off over a garbage can. I live in PA near the Amish and a tons of farms. I could get it elsewhere, but I've always went with Standlee because I've felt I could trust their product. I don't mind paying double, even triple the price I would spend at a local farm given they probably have better quality control than a local farm, but there needs to be better quality of cut for me to continue using it as the price went up with a reduction of 5 pounds in the box. I'm getting 10 to 12 pounds of usable product now and can't even remove the hay without a mask because of the amount of dust.
