[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Adjustable Hacksaw. It works great at cutting wood and other materials such as PVC too. It works well for small jobs around the home. The saw is nice and light. It fits great in my hands and so easy to use. Switching the blade is easy. Just remove the blade and you can put another on in a quick minute. The blade holds tight when using. Definitely a great hacksaw.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this in my tool box and the size made it a great fit. I used it to cut conduit pipe and copper pipes. Worked like a charm and seems very sturdy. I will be getting more blades for thi because I like how it feels and it works great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my saw in the mail a couple of months ago but I decided to keep from reviewing this product as I have yet to see a proper use for this tool. I finally got to testing yesterday and it went well. First thing I cut up was an acrylic panel and it did great. It held up to the cutting and the saw body did not bend nor was flexing, it was strong and could hold up to my full strength. Second thing I cut up was my power steering hose and it did wonderfully and with ease. It's a simple tool, ease of use is there and replacing the blade is a no-brainer. I don't know what else you can ask for!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handle on the hacksaw is extremely comfortable as it has indented sections which keeps it from slipping in your hand. Changing the blade is also easy. When cutting wood for craft projects under the supervison of an adult even a child can get a good grip.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a basic hacksaw that's solid and sturdy and will hold up to abuse from regular use. The handle is obviously plastic in your hand however it doesn't feel cheap or uncomfortable. Blade change is easy and takes multiple lengths of blades. Overall, a very affordable and well built saw that can get the job done.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about a week ago and this thing feels super nice in the hand. The grip is super comfortable and when cutting feels super smooth. It's a toolless blade change that is always nice and it's adjustable. I love it and works perfect cutting wood and other materials.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this hacksaw about three weeks ago and it has really come in handy on a bunch of occasions. I used it to cut a piece of PVC pipe, to trim tree branches outside of my house, and to cut down some kindling for the fireplace. The blade didn't bend or bow at all, so the strokes were smooth and easy. The grip is ergonomic and comfortable for tough work, though it would be nice to have a bit of foam padding on it to keep it from digging into the palm of your hand. But the blade is still razor sharp. Good stuff!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gets the job done, really great for tight spaces because of its very narrow profile. The only issue i have with it is there is a little bit of play in the blade at the wing nut, you just have to make sure its straight before you cut but really not an issue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally got to put this to the test today—had a piece of steel pipe that is now exposed due to erosion, etc in my backyard. About a 1” diameter, 1/8 or 3/16 pipe. With a fair amount of constant elbow grease, I got through it in 3-5 min. The stock blade felt like it cut nicely, but my concern is that the grip/handle is slightly too small for a comfortable grip (and I have smaller hands). The handle could also be enhanced by adding either rubber or a more tacky finish, because the current plastic gets a bit slippery after a few minutes of sweating. The blade is easily interchangeable (wing nut), and I don't believe any functionality/stability was sacrificed because of this feature.
Bent after third use. I was cutting a metal leg off some outdoor furniture and the blade bent. The saw came apart in my hands. Luckily I was not cut badly. The blade bounced on the floor a few times ting ting ting and the adjustable arm was lodged and stuck at the top where it was supposed to slide for blade adjustment. I don't see how this saw would hold tension on the blade which is why it bent and the saw came apart. Would not recommend. If the blade flys off like it did for me it could hurt someone.
